On top of this, I have sent _multiple_ messages to Kinu's support team to see if I can get an in-warranty replacement but have not received a response - it's been two months, I'm being ignored, and I'm done following up! 5 as an initial setting with fresh espresso beans.  Works great, tastes great, was the right model for me as the burrs between all three Kinu models are the same and the difference lies in plastic on superficial areas at the top/bottom of grinder.

Phoenix was the right choice for me!

 If you’re a traveler and in need of something as tough as your adventures, this grinder is for you. You pay for what you get, and you get an amazing product. I rarely make reviews, but this deserved a great one.

Amazing Grinder

 While I would agree with some reviewers that the plastic catch cup doesn’t seem to be in line with the rest of the grinder, but only so because of it being plastic rather than aluminum. Still, I didn’t find it off putting at all, especially since it is aesthetically pleasing and doesn’t impact the flavor. Dry happy with the grinder still.
