This tool is made from impressive materials and has proven to have the best blades in our test. The materials are chosen for maximum function, durability, and to increase the "bling" factor.  There are at least four types of steel &#40;including top-shelf blade steel&#41; plus titanium and diamond components. At about half a pound, the Charge is average in weight for a full-size tool. It's equipped to be carried many ways. Leatherman's low-profile bit driver and the included bits nearly double the overall number of functions. 
On the flip side, the Charge+ TTi is very expensive. It costs more than any other product we evaluated. Additionally, we wish that Leatherman included a full-size 1/4" bit driver instead of their proprietary "squashed" interpretation. They could cut out the generic flat screwdriver/"pry bar" and use the extra space for the larger bit driver. As it is, you must use either an adapter/extender or Leatherman's proprietary bits. Even better would be a bit driver whose geometry centers the driver relative to the handle. Build the pliers to lock and include the above modifications, and we'd have our dream multi-tool. The Charge TTi is a top-of-the-line product despite our very minor gripes. We heartily recommend Leatherman's flagship tool that pulls no punches for anyone needing the best model for frequent use.

 So while we still have the same needle nose with your regular pliers and then 154cm replaceable cutters and hard wire cutters to differences that we need to notate here, the first of which is it has it integrates that that crimper on the top - and I could tell You from experience that that crimper is it's pretty much worthless. It doesn't do a good job because it's too far away from the fulcrum point and then it really doesn't crimp down well on a lot of different stuff. So it's kind of specific it does. Okay, if you're doing like a 10 or a 12 gauge butt splice connector

 I have the wave plus and the charge plus and that's the fact that it doesn't have an awl and to to put it all in here. You have to get rid of one tool and the one tool I'd like to see gone is the little micro driver not gone completely, because I would like to see him create a bit that would integrate it into the main driver. Where you know it's just. I think it's time for that, there's other implements that could go there

 You see how that kind of tends to want to slip out of there. So generally, what I have to do with the wave. It'S kind of give it a little bit of a flat spot first with the pliers, and then I'm able to pull it back there and then it will crimp in I mean, let's see if we can get that to illuminate a little better. So we can get a little better angle, then it it crimps down and it does a pretty decent job

 So it's kind of specific it does. Okay, if you're doing like a 10 or a 12 gauge butt splice connector. But you really got to put a lot of force behind it and, like I said, because it's far away from the focal point, it kind of doesn't work very well. Which is why I tend to lean more towards the wave and the charge plus, because they don't incorporate that that can also kind of get in the way if you're, using the needlenose

The Skeletool was my first Leatherman. That's how I finally came to understand the price.  Too much time and money had been wasted on cheap crappy multitools.  The Skeletool was useful, but it gave me a taste for what I could be doing with a multitool

There'S not really like a lock um like that they're, just like some friction, uh holding the tool in this position and therefore giving you the chance of doing this kind of movement. So really really cool um also you've got a ruler which is on the inside over here uh. You have both centimeters and inches uh going on on each side, and basically this is it

 So, let's check first some size uh comparison, because this is uh, for example the leatherman 3 p4, and you can see that this guy is a little bit bigger than this one, something that is a little bit bigger as well is the surge right over here. Um. Also, you can check, for example, uh from the uh free series. This is the t4 and you can see, of course, that this is not as as big as this, but a little bit smaller, but it has basically the same kind of thickness so uh

 So basically, this is a hidden lanyard loop that you can just be pulled out to uh access this feature. So if you want to use a lanyard you're gon na, have it to do through here on the other on the outside, you have nothing else going on. Um, of course, the pocket clip it will. Going backwards and maximizing profit

 I forget where I saw where that was explained to me, but the waves are here. They aren't is jimping. These are here just to let you know what blade it is that you're looking at so let's go ahead and look at the main thing here. The pliers come to a really fine point: they're, really solid in hand

 Like that, it holds an edge, really well has a with a liner lock on the outside and nice thing about this is the knife is accessible from the outside? A bunch of tools are actually accessible from the outside and, what's really nice is every single thing on this, except for the pliers locks into place. So you're not going to you know, be screwing in with the driver and fold it over on your hand, and you know, hurt your knuckles or something like that. So let's go ahead and get into this. We saw the knife blade

 This one, a couple more militaristic ones. Maxpedition makes some really good stuff too, but it has this pocket clip that you can where's that right here on the bottom end, where, like all your small attachments, are you have the space in here and you can just insert the pocket clip. I can get it here with camera till it clicks and then it's in there and then all you do when you want to pull it out, is to just depress your lock again just locks right here in this little launch. So it's kind of cool

 If you get. One of these is a bit driver extender. So what you do is you just pull out your bit cut your extender end clips right in, and you just put your bit in there. Then it gives you all kinds of reach to get back in somewhere with a bit really worth its weight in gold
