Bought this bed in may. I did a lot of research and narrowing down and this was my choice. I wanted a firmer bed with support and comfort for side sleeping. I wanted a bed that slept cooler than my tempurpedic

I’ve had this mattress for a little under three years now and I’m at the point where I’m desperately looking for a replacement. The first year was great, and it was a fantastic upgrade from our previous store-bought inner-spring mattress in which I had carved a nice permanent 3-inch deep depression the shape of my body. The leesa did wonders for relieving my pressure points: shoulders and hips since I’m mostly a side sleeper. While it still does well when it comes to not causing pain to pressure points, the way I “sink” into the mattress is different than it used to be and now causes my spine to be misaligned

Mattress runs far too hot

I'm a somewhat large person, 6'4" & 250 lbs. I loved this mattress after about a week of sleeping on it. It's was basically perfect, didn't trap much heat, no pressure points whatsoever, and just the right balance of support & comfort. Even after 100 days (when the return period expires) I was still incredibly happy with it

 So, light people should get at least a year out of this, maybe even many times more than that, dunno.  I'm in contact with Leesa's customer support and will update this they're able to help me.

Now I should say, my wife's side is the bed still feels quite nice (she's less than half my weight), but I would really expect that after 9 months. Might be Fine if You're Small

 I really dislike going mattress shopping. Really I dislike going to any store. So the more than will be brought to my door, the better. My friend had purchased one of these and I slept in it a few nights while visiting with no problem, and that’s when I knew this mattress would be the replacement I’ve been needing

In hindsight, she is in a humid climate and keeps her home freezing cold.  After it arrived I set it all up and let it grow for over 24 hours

  I finally called Amazon and they were extremely helpful in making the situation right. Thank you Amazon’  If you like memory foam and can find a solution to the hot spots like an expensive wool or down topper maybe this will work for you. I just have a problem with them advertising this as a cooling mattress when it’s anything but.

Prior to purchasing my Leesa mattress, my wife and I tried to review as many memory foam mattresses to door companies as possible. Not sure why we ultimately decided on Leesa but I'm glad we did. Before our Leesa, I used to wake up with back and neck pain every morning. This was caused by our old run-of-the-mill spring mattress and box spring

The mattress is comfortable and I sleep well on it (side-sleep). It doesn't seem as warm as my old Tempur-Pedic, and that's a good thing.  But, unlike the Tempur-Pedic, the edges of the mattress are not firm

Does not maintain density.

  I have given it two stars because my partner doesn’t mind the bed and doesn’t notice the chemical odor. But she smoked for 15 years and only quite the last few, can’t gelp but wonder if her nose forever changed.  Other notes about the bed - It sleeps hot. I don’t find it comfortable or uncomfortable but imagine it would suit heavier set folks who would sink and enjoy some cushion on the mattress which feels quite firm to be at 120lbs

Constant headaches and a noxious scent

  I just bought a new discount, no-name mattress, and it's actually even more comfortable than I remember the new Leesa being. And for half the price. I fully expect to replace it again in a year or 2 after the memory foam breaks in. But it's at a price I can definitely afford

  There is nothing special about this memory foam or mattress. The high price is simply going into Leesa's marketing budget and profit margin. Don't buy it!

 When my girlfriend came over to visit, we both end up rolling in towards the middle where I would normally sleep alone. As I understand it, it's pretty normal for memory foam to break in like this. However, Leesa claims the best durability, hence my negative rating. I was expecting to get at least 5 years out of the mattress for the price (and due to their description of durability)
