Forget the iPad! Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) Review!

 Any sort of heavy multitasking usage, and you're looking more at around 6 hours of screen on time. I did experience a bug where Android system just ate up battery all the time, leading to very intense idle battery drain. Hopefully this is the sort of thing that should be easily fixed in a software update. Charging is one area where I would have liked to see Lenovo do better

 The Tab P11 Pro comes with an 8000mAh battery, which is pretty big, and Lenovo promises around 9 hours of web browsing time. In my experience, you can hit that sort of screen on time, but only if you're doing something very basic like typing out a document or just playing one video. Any sort of heavy multitasking usage, and you're looking more at around 6 hours of screen on time. I did experience a bug where Android system just ate up battery all the time, leading to very intense idle battery drain

 Hopefully this is the sort of thing that should be easily fixed in a software update. Charging is one area where I would have liked to see Lenovo do better. With the bundled charger, and I guess in 2022 you have to be thankful that you do at least get a bundled charger, this tablet can go from 0 to 100 in around 2 hours 25 minutes. This is only if the tablet is left idle though, if you're using the tablet while charging that time is going to shoot up

 In portrait, you've got beauty settings and some bokeh adjustments there as well. Surprisingly, you can shoot up to 4K resolution on the rear camera. Quality seems pretty good, at least in my studio lighting. Let me give you a few photo and video samples just to give you an idea of what to expect

A bit late, but have you considered restructuring this list around price tiers rather than usage categories.

As is, I could totally see a less tech savvy user being confused as to why the ~$600 Tab S7 is a "notes and movie" tablet, but the comparitively weaker Lenovo Tab M10 is a "gaming" tablet.

I can expand on this later but breaking it into price tiers and using tags to note what each tablet excels at would probably be more straight forward, especially since many people buy based on budget.

Suggested tiers would likely be (in USD):

* Budget - $100 and below
* Entry Level - $100-250
* Mid-range - $250-$500
* High end - $500+

I also was looking to get a new tablet and was trying to decide between that ipad and some android tablets. I ended up getting a Lenovo p11 pro. It was the same price as the ipad but it has a bigger screen, the screen is also OLED, it has more storage for the same price and supports SD card.

Another thing I didn't liked about the ipad was that it still uses the lightning connector and it's even USB 2.0 speed. I'm also interested in android ecosystem and switching the os would be a pain. 

Those are the reasons I went with android. Maybe this can also help you decide.

I'm in a dilemma on which tablet to buy for school. I will be using the tablet mostly for generic school matters like note taking etc (no design or art-related softwares needed). I'm considering to get the ipad 9th gen as it's cheaper but all my gadgets are android, and I don't know if using android and apple simultaneously will affect any data whatsoever. Two thoughts: Buy a data sim and use Google Voice for calls and SMS. This world require transferring your number to Google voice.

Secondly, look on eBay for the Samsung Galaxy tab A7 Lite, international version. This works with T-Mobile but not AT&T, so I've read. Verizon is out too.

Can you recommend a tablet that can send/receive SMS + share link with manual (if needed) how to enable the SMS usage?
