Turn down the brightness a bit, however, and you should be able to get Lenovo's quoted 10 hours.&nbsp;

Revised Review Garbage Stay away

 It is very heavy compared to a Fire HD8 so the unbalanced issues is thought on the wrist. When rotated to wide viewing (long edge horizontal and short edge vertical) the unit is not balanced in the hands. It has a kickstand for this mode but when using the tablet on a table, the kickstand does not support the unit angle needed for viewing on a standard table and chair (height). The unit has to be tipped back so far, the friction control on the kickstand can not hold the tablet up

 I actually purchased a "Like New" condition one for $179. For that price, it will work me. I just have to lower my standards when it comes to streaming.

I am very disappointed that this tablet defaults to SD Quality when streaming video. I mainly watch videos from Amazon Prime and Vudu both which have HD content (which I have paid extra for mind you) and this device downgrades it to SD (480p). It does stream YouTube in HD and the picture and sound quality are great for a tablet in this price range when it works but it's a real shame it is not compatible with all the common streaming services nowadays.  If you aren't planning to stream on it though, it's not a bad tablet

There isn't a fingerprint scanner or loads of camera features but if you aren't looking for the current smartphone standards on a tablet and are okay with something nice but basic, this isn't bad for the money

It's worth the money. I just got it right in time. It's not as fast as iOS system, but overall, it's worth what you pay.
