 The automatic folding mechanism seems well made, if it ever breaks I will update the review accordingly.

 The metal skeleton holding the umbrella open isn't black like it used to be and doesn't seem as sturdy or high quality either: it looks and feels like any cheap umbrella which didn't use to be the case with the old one. The old one looked and felt more expensive than it was. This one seems like it wouldn't stand a strong wind at all while the old one could and felt like it could. I'm hoping for the best but right off the bat I feel as if I should've looked closer at this listing instead of just trusting the "brand" would've kept the item just the way it was when I bought back in the day

 I wouldn't buy this product for a gift and will replace it with something more substantial. However, the size is great to carry in a back-back or large purse.

 This umbrella is made for a light rain. The day I received it, I was caught in a medium intensity rainstorm with some gusty winds. The umbrella was better than not having one but the quality was about what I would expect from any cheap umbrella. It also has a short telescoping stem length and not large enough for decent coverage of a average size woman

I bought this because it was mentioned as being the sturdiest. Maybe I got a badly manufactured one, but the threads started coming loose after a couple months.  It's also fairly small, and I feel like I paid a lot for a small umbrella.

Great umbrella at a great price.

 This doesn't stand too much in the way of holding it in normal rain. But, I haven't dealt with really windy conditions or holding it up for a long walk or something, so I can't write it off for sure. Overall, a good quality umbrella for the price.

 One for her, one for me. I was really impressed with the construction of this umbrella - seems to be quite heavy-duty, but quite compact. She's used hers once at a softball game and sang its praises. Get one

 Highly recommended for a single person size umbrella that is nice and compact when folded.

 I purchased it several weeks ago so we'd have two umbrellas as it was difficult to fit two people under one. We had a torrential rain last night when we went out to a show and I grabbed this one. It was so easy to open and close and it fit neatly under my seat during the show. I just purchased a second one today to replace our older umbrella as it is starting to fail (and so we don't fight over who gets to use this one)

Great Umbrella

 When you open it I think it is a bit squeaky unlike my other umbrella ,but $15 for an umbrella like this is really good price. Bottom line is that it is very small ,but big when it is open. Also, the automatic button is very practically ,but can improve a bit.

I like how big it is for a compact umbrella ,but I am not sure if it is that strong or not and it is not so smooth umbrella
