I've never purchased anything that gave me as big of a headache as a monitor. I bought the LG 27GL83A-B *twice* and had to return both for different reasons. I settled on the Dell S2721DGF mainly because of the warranty (3 years vs. 1 with LG) and the price was right. I had to get it exchanged.

To my disappointment, similar to the Acer monitors I found this locked setting to produce noticeable overshoot at 60Hz. I think it is slightly less aggressive than the Acer’s “Normal” mode, but still unusable. Monitor #8: LG 27GL83A-B.

\- LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B : the little brother with sRGB gamut. \- Asus PG279Q. \- ASUS VG27AQ : mixed bag review, seems not as good as 850-B overall (my impression from Reddit posts). \- Dell UltraSharp U2719D : complete different usage but it's very slick for work according to a friend, but not for gaming however :(.

In continuation of my previous post about eye strain from LG 27GL83A-B's Nano IPS matrix My local shop where I bought cannot refund me, but they can replace LG for another model in the same price range. My first idea was to return to TN pannel because I had no problems with them in the past, but looks like they only have 1440p IPS pannels in stock.
