If you find the 27-inch screen size on the Dell U2723QE too small and want something bigger, ultrawide work monitors are a great alternative if you wish to open multiple windows at the same time. In that case, the LG 40WP95C-W is a great ultrawide office as it has an uncommon 5120x2160 resolution, which is the equivalent of a 4k monitor but with more horizontal screen space. The 21:9 aspect ratio and 40-inch screen let you easily open multiple windows simultaneously, which is great for multitasking.

You can easily connect to it as it has two USB-C inputs with Thunderbolt 4 support, which deliver 96 W of power and is enough to charge even power-hungry work laptops. It has excellent out-of-the-box accuracy and displays a wide range of colors if your work requires accurate colors. While its bigger screen is better for multitasking than the Dell, it isn't as good to use in bright rooms because it only has decent peak brightness and it isn't enough to fight intense glare, so if you work in a well-lit office, the Dell is still the better choice.

If you think the text clarity and color fringing issues on the Dell Alienware AW3423DW are going to bother you and you want something with a ton of productivity features, then look into the LG 40WP95C-W. If you prefer something with an ultrawide screen for multitasking, check out the LG 40WP95C-W. It has a similar 5120x2160 resolution as the Apple Studio Display but with a wider 21:9 aspect ratio and a larger 40-inch screen, which provides a lot more screen space for multitasking with different windows open, and the text clarity is still fantastic. It also has Thunderbolt 4 support, which lets you take full advantage of the Mac Mini, and as there are two USB-C ports, you can also connect a MacBook Pro and use its Picture-by-Picture mode if you work with two devices at the same time.

It's a great choice if you're a content creator because it has a dedicated sRGB picture mode that results in excellent color accuracy before calibration, and it also displays a wide range of colors both in SDR and HDR. However, the text clarity and pixel density aren't as good as on the Apple monitor. Still, it's great for content creators because its sRGB mode comes factory calibrated, the color accuracy is excellent, and it displays a wide range of colors in SDR. It also supports HDR, which the Apple monitor doesn't, which is great if you're a video editor and work in HDR.

Advice needed !! Just got the C1 48" last night and cramped up the desk. The smaller monitor is a Gigabyte M32U. The usage will be 50-50 with the OLED for RPG and racing games and the 32" for work and FPS games. The ledge is 180 cm wide and desk is 200mm wide. How can I make the set up better?

Looks quite neat. Although it's IPS panel, and I would use it more for productivity so I need better contrast on text.

It's the same pixel density as a 32" 4k, which to me is the perfect spot for clarity. The 34" ultrawide with resolution of 3440 x 1440 is a tiny bit too pixelated, and is main reason along with lacking in vertical height, that I use me 32" 4k instead of my 34" ultrawide.

 I sincerely hope LG admits there was a problem with the early versions and announces when the flickering problem is resolved, as I will be a repeat buyer if such an announcement comes forth.

There are heaps of ...x1440 monitors, but i worry this will look like a pixelated mess in comparison to the retina. (I can't afford the 6k/8k Apple screens) and I think I'd prefer an ultra wide to 2x 4k screens. 

Bonus question: do you know of a mount that would work well with a lot of movement? I have a full HD 144hz screen that I only use for gaming (play station) and would ideally like it to swivel out and in front of the future ultrawide? Does that seem silly?
