It was on sale for $329 at the time, making it the right cordless vacuum for my needs and budget. I've owned it for about a week, and so far so good.

An example would be LG with models such as their [CordZero or the [Ultimate Both come with charging stands and removable batteries, but the Ultimate comes with a dedicated hard floor tool if you are into that. The stand alone is worth getting the LG over the Dyson in my opinion and it can even be converted into several different forms such as a wall mount as well. There is not much benefit with getting the Dyson other than brand recognition.

For example, they come with batteries that are meant to be swapped by the user, which is something that is not found on the Dyson models. You pay a little more than you would for a Dyson, but it is LG's current model.

The LG CordZero A9 is a good one, so definitely consider it. They are nice because they come with charging stands that can be configured in numerous different ways. They make versions with different attachments including the Ultimate that comes with a soft roller for hard floors, so definitely pay attention to which one you get.

I would also encourage you to look at the [LG A9 CordZero It is a tad more expensive than the V8, but it is a more powerful unit that comes with a charging stand that can be configured in numerous different ways.
