 So overall shape is a rocker, so you're going to get that extra lift at the front end, again kind of contributing to that superb powder performance. However, what Lib do with this is that they place camber zones underneath the bindings. What those camber zones do is when the board is engaged in the turn, they're going to add additional drive into the full length of the side cut. So by powering up those camber points, it's just going to move energy along the full length of the board and direct to those contact points

 Those bumps add additional traction points into the side cut, which when working in harmony with that kind of deep side cut shape is really just going to give you rock solid edge engagement. Even in the iciest conditions, this board is going to grip like nothing else you've ever ridden before. Profile wise, it utilises the C2 camber. Now this versatile profile is really good for kind of all-terrain riding

 So this triax structural layers, this board's going to hold that power all the way through to the turn. To that they then add their basalt web addition, which if you kind of look through the kind of clear bits along the edges of the board, you can see the basalt stringer. So the basalt is running across at 45 degrees angles. So that's going to work in perfect harmony with that triax glass and just give the board a really dynamic torsional flex

 Now as with all Lib Tech boards as well, it utilises the magnetraction side cut. So the magnetraction side cut adds seven additional bumps down the length of the side cuts. Those bumps add additional traction points into the side cut, which when working in harmony with that kind of deep side cut shape is really just going to give you rock solid edge engagement. Even in the iciest conditions, this board is going to grip like nothing else you've ever ridden before

I currently have: K2 Simple Pleasures and a Rome Agent (from 2004 probably).
 
5’8, 165 lbs, shoe size 10.5. 

Preferably want something for all mountain with a focus on carving/downhill and maybe some buttering.

Board for Ice/East Coast

 Overall, the flex on this board is around the middle of the road, probably just a hair stiffer just due to how it flexes underfoot. This is a board that is very versatile for all-mountain use. This board does have snap. It has rebound, and there's two ways to load this board up

 There's huge sweet spots out in the tips of the Banana Magic, and then it slowly stiffens up underfoot, and then gets a little more playful between the feet with a lot of torsional give. This is a board that's stable when you're cruising on a groomer, and then when you push it and get into rutted out terrain, you feel everything, especially out in the tips. Overall, the flex on this board is around the middle of the road, probably just a hair stiffer just due to how it flexes underfoot. This is a board that is very versatile for all-mountain use

 It was actually super versatile. This is definitely a quiver of one board. This is for the guy that wants to ride the whole mountain, wants snap out of their board, but still wants some play and a nice sweet spot. I had a lot of fun on this board

 In this video, we're going to talk about the Lib Tech Banana Magic. This is a board with an aggressive side cut that's great for carving and a flex pattern that gives you the snap and pop you want out of an all-mountain freestyle deck. This is Mike Olson's daily driver, so you know that he spent some time invested in building and designing this. This was a board that it sits well in the grand scheme of things

 Get your weight out over it. Put a little muscle, a little finesse into it, maybe a little speed, and you're going to feel it press. Be prepared for that fight. Be prepared for that rebound, and if you are, you're going to be golden

 Then it stiffens back up through the inserts and gets equally as soft between the feet with a fair amount of torsional flex. This board is very damp yet still retains some of its liveliness, so that means that it does a good job of reducing chatter. You will notice some tip flapping and that will resonate a little bit back underfoot, but this is a board that you can charge with and not worry about washing out when you get into rutted out terrain. This board has decent pop to it

 This board is so easy to engage when you get it on edge. A little finesse and some power and you're going to plow through everything in its path. It's one of those boards that just drives a car. You can really just lay an edge into it, push into the center of that board, load up that rear camber zone, get it to slingshot out, transition right back over, repeat, and do it all the way down the hill
