 So not too soft, not too stiff, but a really well-rounded flex for the type of conditions that you're going to be riding in, basically everything. Now the Terrain Wrecker has kind of a step up in the construction above the original power construction. This is the OP+, which means that it still has a 75% aspirin and 25% polonial wood core with Triax fiberglass on top that gives the board a lively feel and Biax fiberglass on the bottom that makes it manageable, but it's been upgraded with a sintered base instead of a TNT base. So sintered bases absorb more wax, stay faster longer, they're still really durable, but they're just going to be quite a bit faster and it does have a really good amount of structure to it too

 I ride here in Minnesota most of the time and we have firm snow and having a board with magnet traction, say okay with me.  I'd have to say that this would probably fall into the all-mountain freestyle category just a little bit more than the big time freeride, but it is a great freeride deck. Pulling the trigger on a lib tech board soon. Need help deciding and would like to hear some real world reviews. I am between the COLD BREW, DYNAMO, and TERRAIN WRECKER. 

The board needs to perform well on the bottomless pow days, as well as offer up some playfulness for side hits and groomers for between the storms with some switch abilities. 

Any seasoned rocky mountain range riders have experience on these boards? I'd love to hear.

Lib tech;seeking advice and guidance!

 Today I took it into the park for a lap, I took it down some groomers and some side hits. I felt that in the park it was a little difficult to really hold an edge to get spins, but landing it was really nice to grab in with that magnetraction. On groomers it's a little hard to ride flat base. I think the rocker in the middle kind of made the board a little squirrely and then combined with the magnetraction it kind of felt like I wanted to catch an edge, but if you're really just holding the edge the entire day then this is a great board for you

 It's going to have camber right in the underfoot and rocker right in the middle. Personally I don't think this is the right board for me, I didn't really enjoy having that rocker in the middle. For me it made it a little squirrely and combining with the magnetraction edge technology, it kind of just made me feel like I was going to catch an edge constantly. I wasn't really too happy with that

New Board Recommendations?

 Just outside the camber zones, you're going to find the sweet spots for this board. You're going to be able to just lock it into a press, a butter, a jib, whatever you're doing. There's a lot of snap in this board, so you're going to feel that rebound. You're going to want to leverage your weight right over that sweet spot to really lock it in, and then when you want to pop, it's going to be able to engage, and you're going to be able to boost with it

 Someone that wants a playful board that's got snap to it. Someone that doesn't really care about a damp ride, but wants a very lively deck. That's who this is for. This is a board that's great

The LibTech Terrain Wrecker Snowboard Review

Avoid rocker. Full camber is the right instinct, at least camber underfoot with some rocker in the tips. I'd replace the Lib Terrain Wrecker with the TRS, Dynamo, or the EJack Knife.

I need help finding the right board for me. Im 5'8" 150 male, 9.5 boot size. I live in western NY so ride almost exclusively groomers and hardpack/ice with short runs.

For riding style I generally just enjoy riding fast and carving, with some jumping and never do rails. 

Just got back into it last season after maybe riding 5 times in the previous 10 years. Current board is a 2007 Burton roayale and that is a way bigger board than I need. Definitely want something lighter and more agile.

Im just starting to learn about board features and from what i gather I should be looking for a cambered board (probably c3 or similar) and on the stiffer side. Washing out when trying to carve or turn and hitting an an ice patch is the bane of my existence so i probably want something with edge tech. 

Some boards that im considering but open to any suggestions:

Libtec terrain wrecker. Just afraid that the c2x with the rocker between the feet will hurt grip on ice. Also read somewhere that it can chatter a bit at high speed. Currently my top choice

Assassin Pro. I think this checks a lot of boxes but no advanced edge tech.

Riders Choice asym c3. Checks the boxes i think but probably more board than i need since i cant even tell you how the asym affects the ride.

Open to any other suggestions, ive seen good things about yes and arbor on this sub but im unclear which models have edge tech and fit my needs. Thanks!

Looking for a board to ride fast and carve on east coast groomers/hardpack/ice

 All our reviews are unbiased. I just got off the Lib Tech Terrain Wrecker 157 and I absolutely loved it. This board rips. It's my kind of board

 It has Mervin's magnetraction edges. It turns incredibly well. It's quick edge-to-edge, short, quick carves. It was really good and then when I really wanted to lay like a trench longer drawn out carve, it was awesome too

 Today we're checking out the Lib Tech Terrain Wrecker Snowboard. Lib Tech claims this is the all-terrain quiver killer, perfect in any conditions you're going to find on the resort. As the title states, I need one board that does it all. I am probably a higher-up intermediate rider. I can handle myself around the mountain, doing double blacks frequently and in the wintertime I like to use the local mountain bike jump trails for my board. I want to get into some more park riding though as I've just started to hit real jumps &amp; a few rails. I'm 15, 6'4", 180lbs. Also if anybody knows some good bindings/boot combos I'm all ears. What's a good all mountain board?

 This is a pretty good carver, but it kind of hurries you up through the turn. It doesn't really light up the world of carving, but here's the thing. Because of this edge hold, this really cool disrupted side cut, you can carve in conditions where other people can't. So give and take

 And then it also has lots of good pop, it really ollies well, it really has a lot of dynamic give in the tip and tail. So it's really got this kind of this energetic personality where like a lot of lib boards, you really feel like the wood inside. It seems like they took their tech to enhance that wood feel to where it feels snappy and poppy and energetic. So pretty cool there

 But he could work with this too. So if you're like in that 10 range for this 57, 10, 10 and a half, this is a great fit because it'll fit you really well, turn really quick, just be an easy board for you to ride. Now check the on the table review and you can see with a short summary of the camber profile, it's rocker between the feet going out to a kind of medium camber and the tip and tail are off the snow. What that does is it gives you an interesting on snow feel in soft snow and powder

 If you're somebody who doesn't wax a lot, you're going to really enjoy this. Now uneven terrain, it can buck and bounce you around if you want to power over stuff. Just kind of like speed, it's not really ideal there. But if you're weaving in and out of bumps and you want something that's competent and quick edge to edge, to get around bumps and to ride around in sloppy snow, slow it down, it's going to be great

Looking to purchase a libtech terrain wrecker or Travis rice pro (open to others). 80% of the time I’m on the east coast going fast down groomed trails, but would like something that I can mess around with in powder/glades when the opportunity presents itself. Never do I hit the park anymore. Thoughts on the terrain wrecker? Was looking at the Travis rice pro as well due to its stability at fast speeds, but some of the reviews for powder say it might not be great. Keep in mind this is meant to be my only board, so needs to be a do it all. 

I’m 5’9”, 190 lbs, with a sz 9 boot, and I am an advanced rider (20 years experience). Thoughts on a 160? Or should I go with a 157?
