Dune Imperium and Lost Ruins of Arnak are both deck building worker placement game hybrids. They're both excellent. Shards of Infinity is Star Realms-esque, but different enough to warrant owning both. Both players can invest money on their turn to power up their characters- when one player is strong enough, they can get a one turn kill.

Lost Ruins of Arnak - A Solo Review — Table for ONE
As we drew nearer, a flock of brilliant scarlet birds flew towards our vessel, chirping and whistling as though in welcome. Consulting her charts, our navigator assured us that the island was indeed as yet uncharted. Her words supported a hypothesis we all silently shared – those rugged plateaus, that verdant jungle! - this could be Arnak!”Hold on to your Fedora, dust off the ol’ research notes and plot a course through the archipelago because it is time to solo review Lost Ruins of Arnak, undoubtedly one of the hottest board game releases of last year from first-time designers Elwen & Mín of Czech Games Edition

Lost Ruins of Arnak
Overall, I think Lost Ruins of Arnak is pretty great! I’m very pleased that it’s not too complex for me; it actually hits at just about the sweet spot. I’m interested in pretty much every different system the game has, from the deckbuilding of the Artifacts and Tools to the Research Track to the worker placement and site exploration to the resource management that connects the three major elements of the game together. I think it works together quite nicely

Lost ruins of Arnak in about 3 minutes
Why would you like this game lost rounds of arnak? Does a lot of things well, but i think the key strength of the design is that you get 25 cards across 5 turns and absolutely have to maximize how you use them. So if you want a game that has a lot of decision making and a comparatively short time frame, i'd consider picking it up the item and artifact decks contain a lot of fun cards and tricks.

Lost of Ruins of Arnak is better in my opinion, but depends on your tastes. DoE had too many ameritrash elements for my liking, but I can understand why others love it. If you are torn then the clear choice is Arnak since it is a lot cheaper.

Lost Ruins of Arnak | Shelfside Review
But then this linearness, this simplicity of just doing a or b for points, is part of this game's beauty, so yeah. Something about these euros with set boards. Has me really scared for replay value like doing imperium despite its deck building and some asymmetry had my personal score get lowered because the board was always the same: anyways lost ruins of arnac
