The Mebien Turkish Beach Bath Towel is a great option for most situations. It excelled in most of our test metrics and is a rare combination of soft, thick, and quick drying. This towel is versatile, doubling as a lightweight throw or comfy scarf, with a snug weave and fluffy tassels providing coziness while its density holds in warmth. It has several color and design options to choose from and includes a small tag for hanging it up.
While all products generally have a downside, we really had to search to find one with this towel. The Mebien has quite a few design and color options available, but none of those resemble a typical Turkish towel, which would be a nice option to add. Also, this towel did not get a lot softer over time; however, as the softest out of the package that we tested, this wasn't really an issue. Overall, the Mebien is an excellent choice if you want a versatile towel for almost any application.

I got 2 of these for a trip so my luggage wouldn't be weighed down by bathroom towels. I washed them first since the description states they may shrink a bit. They didn't shrink all that much, but they shed a LOT of lint! I use a mini washing machine in my bathtub with a lint catcher. I never had it fill up, even when I had a long haired cat

 I listed all my complaints to the seller, and they really went an extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. I wasn't upset about the first towel, but it was not what I wanted. They went over and above to get me what I wanted, a fish towel that they sold out of, and is still not yet back on Amazon (I'm going to assume that it will be). And in a better version than listed in the description

 If you love fabrics for their own sake, which I do, this has it all. From the texture, the touch feel, softness, a gorgeous pattern, craftsmanship, to extra attention to detail in the bonus bag no one else gives you.  You could make a skirt or shirt out of this fabric and be proud to wear it anywhere. I'm sitting here wrapped in my fish towel as a shawl, grinning like an idiot, because it makes me happy

 I originally wanted the Fish towel, which was sold out by the time I placed my order, so I chose the blue striped because I loved how it was horizontal stripes instead of the 'usual' vertical stripe direction. The towel, as noted in my original review, is thin (not necessarily a drawback, depending on your intended use). The seller pointed out that hand weaving the horizontal stripes in the blue striped towel is much harder than vertical stripes, so they make them thinner to save on the looming back and forth.  I opted for the out of stock fish towel, so it took a while to receive and update

 My favorite is a combination of two 'pesthamals' in gray and light blue. They are chic and gorgeous. The price is reasonable but it is classy. The nice little bag makes it special for a present

 It's a nice size to use as a throw blanket and is compact enough to stuff into a travel bag. My daughter is bringing hers on a trip to Europe to use as a blanket for the plane, beach towel and shoulder wrap when visiting houses of worship. I have purchased 3 different prints and love them all, beautiful muted colors and designs. I highly recommend this for oneself or as a great gift!

 I have another brand Turkish towel and this one is much softer. This is the third Mebien Turkish towel that I have purchased, the first for myself and the others as gifts for my college age niece and daughter, the girls both love them too. It's a nice size to use as a throw blanket and is compact enough to stuff into a travel bag.
