 We haven't worn this in hot temperatures, but that would definitely help out with any sort of like sweaty back or anything like that. The sternum strap here on the one side. It is just a kind of folded over uh nylon here that just runs through, and then you can adjust that between these two and then there's a sewing point here and then three more above now. This is definitely not our favorite kind of sternum strap it's going to take a minute to adjust versus if it was a clip or on a rail that you could just slide it

 It would just make everything a lot easier to see, but overall, as long as you use like a tech pouch or something like that or other little pouches for organization - and you don't need to worry about the admin panel as much. This is a lot better. Just because you know, if you don't want to have to roll it down every time, this is kind of what you're looking at. I mean there's just a lot of fabric on top here that you got to deal with so as long as you can kind of use it as a like a bigger dump sack this is a very comfortable bag to use and the sleek look

 You really need to get the zipper. All the way open and it can kind of get stuck on some of the gusseting once you get towards the end here, because there is kind of like a little sewn pocket for the zipper to go into. So you got to make sure you get it all. The way past this, as you can see there and also too just uh, sometimes the shoulder, strap attachment point here - will kind of get in the way

 However, the pockets are essentially worthless. When a laptop computer is placed inside the designated sleeve the other organizing pockets have no room to expand and cannot be used to hold other items. I couldn't even slide in a thin magazine. The small exterior pocket becomes so tight that I can’t fit my hand into it

 So without any further fluff, let's just get right into it. The backpack is made by British company Milliken and called Smith the Rolltop in the 25 liter variant. the collar is mass green and it is made of Millikin's special fabric called Dalton Canvas, which is apparently almost all recycled consumer waste. So according to Milliken's own website, the Smith 25 used the equivalent of 44 single-use water bottles

 As I said in the beginning, I also use this backpack for my daily commute to work, and it also easily houses my 14-inch Lenovo notebook on top of all of the aforementioned stuff, as well as the lunchbox if I decide to bring it, and that's really it. If I'm out and about and want to have quick access to my cameras, I usually carry my Leica over my shoulder and my Sony tucked away in the other side pouch. I won't make any promises on how long I will stick with the setup, but so far I'm really happy with it. It works wonderfully

 One of my favorite has to be the magnet clasp here at the back on the laptop pocket. I think that's amazing. And also just having the laptop pocket on the outside of the bag is really something that I really like about this backpack. All of these metal latches and sort of clasp systems I really like as well

 I also just took it to work today, rolled down to a smaller size, then stopped at the grocery store and unrolled it to fit my groceries. Love the laptop pouch. There is a good amount of extra strap hanging if you're small (like me) and when you don't have much stuff in it, but overall I think this was a good purchase. It can fit carry on item size for flights, or if shrunk down with less stuff it can even fit personal item size

I purchased this backpack for a trip to Europe after reading the few but great reviews. It has no visible external zippers and pockets and a roll top to help avoid pickpocketing; sizing is perfect (and adjustable!) as a carry-on; I traveled during the winter so waterproofing worked great; and really I wanted something I could bike with when I returned from my trip that was more comfortable than my Timbukt2 with a shoulder strap. It's awesome—fits my laptop and lunch, is comfortable and has a simple but attractive design. I will be using this bag for a long time!
