Now this is a French press That it's a stainless steel model and I picked this because it's a one liter so it gives roughly two, two and a half good cups. Good size cups of coffee. If you INSIST upon using a French press

I like the flavor of the coffee when brewed in this French press better than on  the percolator. It comes out a bit less bitter. However, since this needs to be warmed up prior to use, therefore, one has to boil water, pour it in the French press, wait a few minutes, pour out the water, and then start making the coffee, it takes more time and it is more involved than brewing in other coffee makers. Overall it is a good purchase
