 I don't have any blushes under Not cream. Nothing. Just my base and my bronzer So I'm just gonna go into it, and I'm gonna swirl to pick up the pigment So I can look at my brush, and I do see a little bit of pigment coming on to the brush And I'm just gonna swirl it When you swirl you can get more pigment out of your blush, so we're just gonna tap tap tap Tap tap tap and see what it does I Do have a lot of makeup on at the moment and what I can say is First impressions it is a very I would say natural looking blush as you can see like you can see a little tiny bit Of blush here, and then you see nothing, but there's almost no difference at the first swipe And you can see a little tiny bit of shimmers on my skin it blends really well With my foundation that I have at the moment Let's see if I can build it up a little bit more by picking the pigments And I have a fluffy brush for this one I do have other brushes, but I wanted to see if I can really have like a pop of color on my cheeks I I Feel like the nice thing about this blush is that it blends really well with all the layers that you have underneath So I had like foundation concealer and then a lot of powders And then I feel like it doesn't look chalky It doesn't look weird in any way should perform especially when you look up close in here Um you can see a little tiny bit of shimmers, but not enough to like enhance any texture on my skin So that's quite nice so far I Don't know here. This is just a sample I got it with my points for a hundred points But you can buy it for the full version for $39 at Canadian And it is a silky soft spinach that has a pinky undertone That will apparently make it just very very natural like it comes from within and this was an award-winning Pressed powder that delivers healthy looking color that will flatter any skin tone and of course. There's are there's a lot of shades There's not only this one of course. There's multiple like deeper darker There's also mini versions like this one so looking at it from this angle I feel like this one is not completely matte it has a little bit of shimmers in there So it is a very pinky peachy tone the orgasm shade And there is some gold kind of shimmers into the blush So as you can see like there's some reflux on the side, and it looks really really pretty So it is a pretty shader that I feel like it would fit a lot of different skin tones But the thing is is this pigmented is this buildable is it? Long wearing I did test it out for you know a couple days before that Just to make sure like what I thought about this product And I'm just gonna go straight into it as you can see I only have some bronzer

NARS Blush Review - Org*sm Shade, Is it Overhyped?

  First of all, I can't see this flattering all skin-tones as the company claims. Now, I happen to have light golden skin and this does flatter me beautifully. However, the golden shimmer in this is the real highlighter (literally). If you have medium-dark to dark skin, that's all you're going to see - the shimmer

  The other issue I mentioned before was the wear. Up until recently I never really considered myself to have oily skin, but for the last couple of years I've been using very potent acne medication and it dries my skin terribly and, as a result, I suspect it sends the oil in my skin into overdrive - I mean, it comes back with a vengeance. In any case, maybe this just doesn't seem to last long on me because the makeup I wear makes my skin oily. Or maybe I'm just not putting enough on (I don't like have to pile on blush

I usually don't buy into hype, but I've been hearing about this blush for almost fifteen years - that's about since I was in high school - and I was always curious about the blush with the risque name. Back then I obviously couldn't afford 30 dollars for a blush, but I finally after all of this time I decided that I would buy this because it was purported to be the absolute must-have universal shade.  Well, I'll start off by saying that the color is very beautiful. I will give it that - especially since it looks super intimidating in the pan because it looks so vibrant

 If that's the look you're going for - fine. But then you're better off just buying a regular highlighter, for that matter - perhaps something cheaper, at that.  It's the NARS blush in the shade Orgasm, which I have actually never tried before but I have been wanting to for so long. I really do think this is probably the number one blush that people talk about so I love that I'm finally getting to try it out and then I got it in my June 2021 Boxie Luxe box. So this has a retail value of $30, which I think is very expensive for just a single blush But I'm so glad I got it in that box. So I got it for a good deal Which if you have not seen that unboxing yet, I'll have that video linked in the description down below so you can check it out But so here is what the packaging looks like Classic, it is a good size

 Like this is a big blush. It'll last a long time I like that it has the mirror here and so it has a Gold shimmer to it. It looks like oh and it's also great. It's like it's not just like a shimmer overlay It's shimmery throughout But first I want to start out with a swatch So that really is beautiful, I love the glow that it has to it Here you can see that swatch

And so I'm just going to take a fluffy brush Pick up a little bit not too much at first and let's see how it looks on my cheek Oh Right away

 I like to connect my blush That way I feel like it looks more natural So here's the finished look and it really does look beautiful on the skin It's a really nice shade of pink and it's super glowy on the skin So it gives a really pretty effect with that flush of color and that glow But I just can't say that I love it and it's definitely not my favorite because of All the sparkle on my face now and all of the very visible Enhanced pores was just something I really try and hide but this is just really enhancing them But let me know in the comments down below your thoughts on the NARS blush Do you think it's worth the hype? Mine is Benefit's Porefessional.  I always overemphasize the PORE part really loudly in my head, and I just think...this sounds nothing like professional, and even then, what have you told me about this product? Which product wins the award for dumbest name?

I purchased this blush in Lovejoy because I had broken my old one. I think the shade is discontinued because they don’t sell it in stores at Sephora or NARS. I compared my old blush that I bought from Sephora with this new blush side-by-side and the two blushes are different colors even though it’s supposed to be the same shade (old blush on the left and new on the right lol). I think this might be a fake product

 You can see it right here and they're beautiful. Absolutely stunning. Again, they both have a slight sheen to them and they are amazing. Like I said, this Orgasm X, that peachy coral

 And I'm trying to debate which one I want to test out with you guys. This is their other lip tint. This is in the shade Reef and let me share this swatch too. This is more of like kind of like a nudey pink and this would go really well with this look, but I really want to try that coral tone too

 Oh my gosh, this is going to be gorgeous. You guys, this is the swatch of that right here. And you can see the color is just going to be so pretty on the lips. I can't wait to put this on

 So this is the other eyeshadow quad in this collection. This is the Orgasm X eyeshadow quad and these colors are so beautiful as well. You guys, these are more of like your deeper, more maroon, cranberry colors and this is going to be so pretty on the eyes. I can't wait to do a look with this one as well, but I can only do one today

I had a mini Nars orgasm blush that lasted years even with frequent use. I also bought a mini Tarte Shape Tape concealer because I only use a little dot on my under eye and then blend it out so this will last me a long time too.

Buy mini sizes for bronzers and blushes. 

That’s it that’s the tip and here’s why. I used to get so into the hype of buying different blushes and bronzers but once I bought them I would enjoy them for a few months then get tired and want to try the next new product. If you buy mini sizes (if they’re available) of blushes and bronzers, it gives you so much flexibility in your makeup routine because you don’t feel guilty about never finishing those HUGE pans of Reggio at sizes (lookin at you TooFaced Chocolate Bronzer) and they’re cheaper! Minis get used up relatively quicker so you can move on and try new things!

I’ve been doing this for years and honestly it’s saved me a love of money in the long run. Minis also last super long !!!!

Anyway just something to keep in mind, especially as holidays are coming up.

For people who are just getting into makeup (or not!) I have a really great tip I’d like to share that I feel like not many people discuss!

This color appeared much darker in photos online, but when applied it looked VERY ashy on my dark skin. If you aren't super fair, this will not be flattering. Ended up returning it for a refund

 Work from your hairline down towards the corner of the mouth, stopping two fingers away. Using a fluffy brush that's tapered on the end, I start near the hairline, under the cheekbone, blending towards the edge of the mouth. To really amp up this look, I'm switching my brush to a dense, slender brush, focusing more product under that cheekbone and working up. Using this technique, you can sculpt for day or night

 Using a tight tapered brush that's still rather fluffy, I'm going to apply the product to the apples of the cheek, two fingers away from the corner of the mouth on the apples. This technique gives a very natural look to the blush. It's extremely wearable and gives that healthy glow. Using a more tapered and dense brush, go under the cheekbone and blend up
