Netgear EX8000

Like I said, I am NO expert by any means and am just embarking on this journey on my own in the next few weeks, but through my research, questioning, and supply gathering, this is what makes sense to me. If this doesn't make sense, I hope someone kindly chimes in and corrects me! Best of luck and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, I'll do my best to accurately respond. For reference, I am using Netgear's NightHawk system (using their x6s ac4000 router and two of their EX8000 range extenders with one in the middle of the house and the other on the opposite end of the house).

look at the netgear ex8000 (i believe is its model number) it should mesh with your router.... make sure you have at least some wifi on your cellphone where you want to put this thing (its antennas are bigger than your cellphone's so it will pull in the wifi even better) before getting one (if your phone can't see any wifi where you want to put this there won't be enough for it to mesh with).

I've been able to successfully add the EX8000 to my network multiple times, approx 5 at this point, via WPS, the app and through the wizard at [mywifiext.net](https://mywifiext.net). I was able to successfully add the extender to the network with WPD and the app, the site wizard failed. What's been happening is, when the extender is getting connected to the network successfully, it works and everything is fine.
