 So again i love everything about this camera i love the design especially it's my favorite one design wise that we have reviewed what i don't love is the price it's a lot more expensive in comparison to the other dashcams that we've reviewed. Personally dashcams really don't need to be too special they just need to work they just need to record that footage for you. I personally still use the blue sky c b2w it's the cheapest but it's also it's effective it works i do love this next base dashcam but i personally couldn't justify paying that price. My budget can go up to $200, but I’m not looking to spend that much unless it is comparatively worth it in comparison to lower prices. My friend suggested Garmin, which options I would have considered was 66W and 56W, but then I found this subreddit, and found Nextbase suggestions, and or that Viofo is simply a better investment.

I’m assuming the best value for my money would be between $100-$200, but I’d like to hear a suggestion from other people who have better information. I didn’t know much about dash cams before today other than it recorded car interactions, and if I could save the trouble of informing myself of the entire spectrum of dash cams before making my decision, I would.

Edit: I should probably mention that I would probably like to get as much exterior video coverage as possible. Meaning I’d rather get a cam from the front and back and any other common places to put them than just one. Unless there is a solo camera that somehow covers all those areas, I wouldn’t know.

 This definatly adds to the reduced battery life. It sticks to the windshield great with the supplied adhiesive. The suction adapter lets go after several hours. Yes, I cleaned the area prior to installing in the window

I ended up with 2 of these dashcam's. The first unit came in and I was not happy with 3 min of battery life. I was worried that parking mode would not have enough battery when the car was off and parked. I ordered a replacement hoping that the battery life ould be better on the 2nd unit

 2) The camera is extremely easy to setup at the start, however getting your phone to connect to the camera WiFi after initial setup is nearly impossible, making it also impossible to view any recordings saved. 3) I’ve tried contacting Nextbase a few times, but haven’t gotten a reply from them at all.
