 This thing is monstrous, and so what i was hoping was, this blender is going to take the place of this juicer and my other blender. Now one of the things i did notice - and i want to make sure that i bring up - is that it does say at the top that you should not should not put hot liquid to blend in here. So that's going to be interesting because i love to make indian food and there's a lot of times where you need to blend some hot tomato puree and i'm not sure if i can use this with this plastic blender. But i can get rid of that

Giving this item a 3-star rating, but really it deserves a 1-star, as more people are inclined to read my experience with this item. I bought this blender less than a year ago, not aware that it had a poor limited warranty if something went wrong with it. Used 1-2 times per week blending healthy drinks. Maybe 300 minutes (5 hours) total use time over a year on the unit

Is this Ninja Blender really that good?

 When we got married, we got just one of those cheap 30 blenders, never thought anything of it, but this is really the way to go. It'S got this safety release, which is pretty cool where the top won't come off. Unless you release it, then it's got that pour valve, which is nice, because then you can pour your smoothie without pouring it all over your cup, which is great, and you can see that the blades go all the way up and down, which means that the cutting Power and slicing and dicing power of this is just insane, so i start with frozen bananas, and then i go frozen mangoes by the way.  So i add a little bit more almond milk go at it a little bit more, and i am now to the point where basically, it is ready to pour and you're gon na see gosh. That looks good, look at the color of that and it goes in there. I sped this up a little bit because again i do a very thick smoothie. You may not prefer it as thick as me, but i really like it to have that texture

 I don't want any bloating going on with this, and i typically will start out and not put a ton of milk in at first. You can see that it's blending this up, what it does is it kind of blends for a little bit. Then it takes a break. Then it blends for a little bit

 I really like it then a little bit of chia seeds don't know what they do. I'Ve heard they're good couple tablespoons of that. Then i'm gon na go flaxseed because it one it's fun to say flaxseed flaxseed, but flaxseed apparently is really healthy. So i throw a little bit of that frozen cherries just because it's fun to eat cherries and to say cherries gives it that color, which i really like same thing with blueberries some good antioxidants thrown in there and you're going to see that this thing is just Going to handle everything that i throw at it almond milk, because i want to keep it dairy free

This is one thing that i don't like about this blender um, so it's still not as smooth as i wanted it um. If it was the previous blender, i had the austral blender um

 So you push that and it releases the lead, and i like that it has an opening right here where you can pour out your content. So another thing i like about this blender is the fact that the base has a suction right there that so it keeps it secure to the surface, so it doesn't slide off. Although it's it is so big. If you have a smaller kitchen um like mine, you know um, it's gon na take a big space on your countertop

 This is one thing that i don't like about this blender um, so it's still not as smooth as i wanted it um. If it was the previous blender, i had the austral blender um. It probably would have been um well blended to my satisfaction here, but this still has like the skin of the pepper, the onion and everything you can still stick. So it's still not fully blended

 But if you want um something very smooth, you know you probably want to take out the seed - and this is probably not the blender for that. For this part right here, when i tried the smoothie um cycle, it did not work well for it. Neither does the, of course not the ice crush and the ice cream works a little bit for it, but what i find to work is just use one of these power buttons down here. Okay, this right here i see a piece of onion

  I did try just blending it again after the smoothie preset function was finished. It didn’t seem to help. I ended up returning it.

I bought this blender hoping to use it to make smoothies. They were not very smooth. After using the Smoothie preset button, there were still bits of the ingredients in it. For some of the smoothies, I would blend it in the blender (it was a bigger container,) then pour some into my smaller Nutri Bullet to blend it better
