I love the 24 oz blender cup and you get two! The biggest drawback for me - is the Blades. There are three sharp blades. They are loose, and you have to be super careful to avoid a nick or cut when handling them. I put up a sign to remind myself and I stored each one in a steel pot to avoid any mishaps

 Gotta keep looking for a balance of safety and great smoothies and extractions. If handling the blades isn't a problem, I say go for the Ninja Professional. Less expensive than Vitamix.

 I'm going to twist this and I'm able to drink from this portion. Also I think I forgot to mention this is the Ninja Professional Plus. So this one is 1400, is it watts is the speed, 72 ounce blender and I think that's a 64 ounce food processor and I don't know how many ounces these cups are.  This has the suction cups at the bottom, so as you see it's so hard to move up or take it off, so it'll stay in place once it's blending and shaking. I'm just going to do something really quick. It does everything we hoped it would but omg blending smoothies in the cup is so freaking loud. I'm ready to make my husband use an outside outlet to make his smoothies so he doesn't wake our kids, bonus maybe it'll get the neighbor's daughter's family living in the camper overlooking our privacy fence to move!

 Easy to clean blades and cups. Blades are nice and tough they cut through frozen and fresh fruit and veggies like a hot knife through butter. I do have to reblend from time to time if the frozen items get a bit clumpy but this is not a fault in the device. Blender: Nice sharp blades that go through ice without a thought

 This crushes ice like nothing I've ever seen and in almost no time at all. In fact it's so powerful they had to put suction cups at the bottom of the base to keep it from skating off the counter or table when you run it. I used the timer button setting (60 seconds) to blend a salsa and I was impressed at how smooth and chunk-less it came out.  The food processor is just as powerful since it uses the same powered base

  This year I talked myself into this Ninja 1500 watt baby and I was not disappointed. It came with blender pitcher, food processor bowl, and two drink cups.
