 I'M really really surprised. The quality of it it looks really good. It'S not foaming, it's still bright. So, let's open this up and unseal the vacuum, and we're going to flip this over we're going to take our lid off Wow and we're gon na pour us a smoothie Wow

 So let me get this baby out of the box and we'll take a look at it. So it's all out of the box - and I just wanted to play with it a little bit with some water in it. So here's our basic blender and what's neat about it is the display is all digital, so it has presets where you can do smoothie ice cream, puree or frozen drink. It also has a pulse function, high and low

 I have one banana a half of orange already, so I have about a cup of frozen strawberries, yay and I have about a quarter cup of triple berry. This has got raspberry, blueberries, all kinds of fun stuff, and I also have about a half a cup of pineapple juice. Yeah, we're gon na go ahead and we're gon na put the blade on okay, we flipped the cup over and we're gon na open. This little thing right here and there's a rubber like gasket thing here: we're gon na go ahead and we're gon na put our fresh that power pump around here and we're gon na go ahead and we're going to vacuum the air out, [, Music ]

 You could also just pulse, you can go high and you can go low and count time. That is awesome, but not only does ninja come with this big huge thing here. It also comes with two individual cups here, so how these work is there's a blade on the bottom, and this is your blending blade. This goes on the bottom of both cups right, so you put this on here, and I just put some water in here, and this is where you do your vacuum

Makes great smoothies but design flaw...

 They blend fine. I liked the suction feature better but can't use now. The large blender works ok for soups and fresh juice but it's no vita mix.

No durability

Despite the three seemingly useless blades, it still doesn't blend properly and you have to constantly stop and mix it with a spoon. The extra blades actually get in the way when trying to mix with a spoon. The blades and carafe aren't designed for natural mixing while it's running.

I am overall happy with this blender, but I am intrigued by the burning smell released when doing smoothies. This is not a good signal and it may suggest that the motor is not going to last too long. It would be useful if other users observing the same smell report it.

The blending function is great. Too bad both of the cups leak out of the vacuum seal and my wife has to put a diaper on them every mornings so they don't make a mess on the way to work.

 I have contacted the company and they are sending me replacements. We will see if they leak too. I would rather have the option of getting a cup without the fresh vac system and seals at the bottom of the cup that could easily fail. I really don’t want the mess on my clothes or in my car! Also the speeds of the blender don’t operate as well as my other blender, doesn’t seem as strong

 The individual blending cups leak and not one other cup they make will fit this blender. If you have to make shakes ahead and use the fresh vac system it may be of use but I really don’t think the shakes would be anymore fresh. Anyway I can’t use the cups because the minute I fill with liquid, they leak. I can only use the pitcher

I really want to like this blender but there are issues. I have another Ninja blender that works fabulous but this duo with the fresh vac system has problems. The individual blending cups leak and not one other cup they make will fit this blender. If you have to make shakes ahead and use the fresh vac system it may be of use but I really don’t think the shakes would be anymore fresh

Don’t go with the Vac fresh! Save your money and get the basic Ninja blender!
