 For two years we had the regular mountain and we had the mountain griff and now we've just decided to go the mountain is the mountain griff so this is a graphic inspired and created by team rider Griffin Siebert who is kind of a I don't know he loves the mountain he's always in the mountain splitboarding and when he's not splitboarding he's riding the mountain all over mountains like Brighton, Snowbird, anywhere in the Wasatch, in the northwest, Mount Baker. This is his go-to board for charging the groomers and for charging the steep and deep and the cliffs on the side country. So let's get into it the mountain has a tapered directional shape which means it's directional so it's set back a little bit and the tapered is the nose is a little wider than the tail what that's going to do is going to allow you to steer through the powder a little better and with more control laying into the back foot and it's also going to be a little quicker edge to edge when on the groomers it has our cam out camber which means there's camber underfoot here for more control and early lift in the nose and tail giving more float in the powder and then also making it more forgiving where you're connecting turns and getting those sketchy situations. It has a progressive side cut which is a really fun side cut because the side cut is mellow mellow mellow and then gets a little tighter in the tail here which matches perfectly with a tapered directional shape because you're going to really allow it to allow you to easily initiate the turns through the front here and then put that power towards the back of your back leg so you can really slash and surf down the mountain

The mountain has our centered speed formula HD base which is an amazing base center bases are super fast it's going to keep you hauling and this beautiful fade right here was designed by Griffin Siebert and it's going to look good and pop good on the snow

It's nice and tight in the tail, and progressive sidecuts are amazing for ripping turns in an all-mountain shape board because you can really lay into that back leg and then just really rail on your heel edge and your toe edge and it's not going to wash out on you

 I'd recommend the mountain board for anyone who's looking for a tapered directional snowboard where they can ride in the trees, ride the mountain, go wherever you want, tapered shapes that's fun, heel edge, toe edge, it's a little stiffer of a board but it's more for the experienced snowboard who's looking for something that can handle their experience and they want to progress on. So check out the new 2019 Nitro Mountain Snowboard originally from the Nitro Quiver series, it's been it's own board for the last couple years because it rules, it's a good board.

This will not only give you pop in your ollies, but also in your carves when you are exiting a turn, finishing on one edge, and transferring over to the other edge. You'll find a lot of energy in the ride and carve of this board
