I purchased the Northface Overhaul 40 about 4 years ago specifically for travel, so this is not my everyday bag unless I am travelling. I am able to pack 3 - 4 days worth of clothes and have been all over the world with this bag - all over the US, Europe (in the winter), India, Central America, Caribbean, Hawaii, and India. One feature I really like about this backpack is at the bottom there is a compartment designed for dirty clothes or shoes.

This pack is very sturdily built with heavy weight materials. It's a little on the heavy side but not terrible.
