Wouldn't be surprised if they started with the OnePlus approach with zero or low margins and they'll hike the price with every new device. 

It might be a Pixel alternative as Nothing bought Essential patents and have a lot of former OnePlus staff so I'm reasonably sure the software will be similar to a Pixel with a few tweaks here and there. Availability should be better too since they're already selling their earbuds in more countries. I wouldn't expect a headphone jack or Micro SD card slot on their phones but I'm confident it'll have an unlockable bootloader.

Actually quite interested in how this turns out. I know that there is mixed feelings about the company currently but if they use their OG Oneplus experiences they could pull a hit enthusiast smartphone out of the bag, and fill the gap that oneplus has left since the recent oppo merger.  In no way they can compare to Sony's, and ohters with a mucch higher price tag, but, on the other hand, they beat for a mile, ohthers in the same price or even a bit higher. Siund is pretty decent, not much customization, tiuch for controlling volume works great, I focus more on the call quality thatn music, I mostly listen to podcast than music, so for me are more than enogh,I also listen to music and to me, they're food. The ear buds were great but they didn’t even last a week before they broke and I had to return them. The sound quality was great, they’re very comfortable, the noise cancelling aspect was incredible, and the app was intuitive to use. However, after only 4 days of use, the right ear bud would not hold a charge above 10%. And if it did manage to hold a charge, it still would not connect to my phone so I would only have music coming through left ear bud

Hi guys, I got a Beyerdynamics MMX 300 headset,  but the mic starts picking up on the output of the headphones (like youtube, games, ect) and people in the voice call can hear it.  Anyone know what might be the problem?  Thanks in advance.

hi guys, what are your opinions on the Behringer HPX6000's? I got them for DJing and frankly theyre my first set of cans that are meant to be "good". Compared to my gaming headset, I notice the bass and mids are more balanced, as well as the highs more subtle as opposed to being almost painfully harsh at higher listening volumes. However the bass remains punchy and deep, immersive as i like to call it. Are these cans actually really good or are they just objectively rather bass-y? thanks

Quiet environment so no need for noise cancelling. Would i be blown away if I purchased a new pair of headphones in the sub $250 dollar range? Or has the technology stayed more or less the same and I should be fine just continuing to rock these aka if it ain't broke don't fix it? I paid \~$300 CAD for Bose AE2 Soundlinks 3 years ago, and EVERYTHING about them has broken or is coming apart, except the speakers themselves. I always use the case that came with them whenever they go into a pack, but I've come to the conclusion that they're just bush-league garbage build quality. I value sound quality, but build quality is paramount. My Dad's Koss PRO4AA's have been chugging along happily for 50 years with no visible wear or deterioration in sound quality. However, they're heavy and uncomfortable.

I find myself wanting to lean towards audio-technica, but I haven't found any reviews for owners of 10+ years. Looking at M40x or M50x.  
I look exclusively for over-ear headphones, as I've tried dozens of styles of ear buds over the decades and they simply do not fit my ears.

What would you recommend for a long term commitment, that will not turn into dust in 3 short years?

I have a fairly basic pair of Corsair stereo hs50's and an ipad with apple music (means I have lossless audio), and I would like to upgrade my music enjoyment setup.  I personally have a good bit of money but my parents don't really want me to "waste" it on a go xlr or other pretty expensive things. What they don't know dosent hurt them however, so if there are some cheap gadgets (or really anything that could make my listening experience better) that I could easily find in a small store I would love suggestion In the comments or dms l, and thank you in advance. The audio balance is off on every single pair of headphones I own. All of them are only a few months old. They aren’t cheap pairs of headphones, one of them is a pair of AirPods Pro. Every single song I listen to is louder on the left. I’ve tried literally everything to fix this.

I got a steroid shot in my asscheek to clear my ears. Nothing has worked. It still sounds louder on the left side. 

Am I going insane? Are my ears permanently fucked up? Has someone placed a curse on me? I need help.

They have that beautiful design. The sound is really good, noise cancellation too, good for calls on interior, battery life is average. But they’re not handling well calls in a noisy places. The transparency mode is not quite working, I need to take them off to listen to people
