 They are no longer hot either, that was a problem that many of these mattresses had in the early generations. The newer technology has addressed that. I will buy the cheaper model in the future. I hope I don't have to buy new model every 6 years due to sinking, but I can buy a lot of mattresses at $399

 In frustration we tried the number bed. That experiment failed miserably. Totally uncomfortable and the price was insane for an encased camping mattress. Sent that back under free trial and bought another foam mattress

 My husband is heavier, but is a back sleeper so his weight is spread out and the bed is less indented on his side.

I want to let you guys that this mattress its very comfortable i got it from costco and i unpacked it since 9 am so on the afternoon was ready to use the only tip im going to give you its that you can put a fan on front of it to let the smell go away i did it like that and there its no smell :)  I would highly recommend this matress even to big people you wont sink or anything its very good :)

We replaced a coil mattress with this Novafoam gel foam mattress and have been sleeping on it for two months so I think I can now give an informed assessment. Initially, when we got the mattress I found that it was extremely supportive although definitely on the firm side - not as enveloping as the leading $ T brand mattress we tried out in the stores. I found it extremely comfortable to sleep on in all positions except the stomach at which point it seemed slightly too firm. In spite of the initial firmness, each night of sleep was wonderful and far more comfortable and ache-relieving than any other previous mattress

 It is clear why people are transitioning more frequently to these foam mattresses. On the other hand, my spouse found the mattress too firm and was insisting that we return it and purchase the T mattress. As a last ditch effort to avoid this expensive purchase, in my research I discovered that this mattress only has 2 inches of gel covering versus the 4 inches of memory foam of the big T brand. As Novafoam sells a 2 inch gel memory foam mattress topper independently, I decided to get this and see if this would make the spouse happy

 I put the mattress cover/protector on it with ease and then covered it with new microfiber sheets. :) The 14" pocket fits perfectly around the mattress with no sag and no struggle.  I laid on my back with new pillows under my head and turned on a movie. It was REALLY COMFORATBLE

I don't sink too far into the bed, just enough my back, spine, ribs etc don't hurt from side-lying. And it takes the pressure off my shoulders too

 Unwrapped it, let it expand and jumped right on, could barely tell. Let it breath the afternoon and put new sheets on and all I smelled was satin.  Only thing you Can't do? Sit cross-legged and read a book. Your but sinks in and your legs go to sleep

This was a great concern for me as I am a person who sleeps very hot, but I have been fine with the AC or fan on during the summer.  All in all, I highly recommend purchasing this mattress. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase

As someone who has always slept on soft/medium box spring mattresses, I was a bit hesitant about getting a memory foam mattress that so many have described it as unbearably firm. At 6 months in, I could not be happier with this purchase!  I would describe the mattress as medium/firm, but it is still soft enough and not uncomfortable in any sense. The mattress provides excellent support and has relieved any soreness I became accustom to after waking up on my traditional soft box spring mattress.
