 This head is supplied also with Henry and Hetty machines. This is a plastic based cleaning head in my opinion. The other machines I've tested in the pneumatic family that use this particular carpet and hard floor. They didn't perform better than the old nozzle that you used to be able to get

 He's robust, is reliable. He has a huge dust bag. He has an extra-long reach with a 10 meter cable and a two point four meter hose. He's also one of the last cleaners to be made in the United Kingdom So by buying James or any pneumatic cleaner you are supporting British Industry Okay as the plus point, of course he does perform ok, is not excellent at all tasks, but he's good to average

 Well, I'm at the bottom of my stairs now in order to see how far the pneumatic James reach up a standard flight of stairs before I Either have to carry him or put him at the top of the stairs in order to clean the remaining steps. So let's see how many stairs James will clean with the machine safely at the bottom with James at the bottom of my stairs I Can clean eight steps safely, but I will have to lift up James in order to clean the remaining stairs so he's not ideal for stair cleaning. He won't reach right to the top of a stand flight of stairs which in the UK is 13 steps. Well, while I'm at the bottom of my stairs I thought I'd take a well-deserved sit down and sum up the pneumatic James for you

 He's also a little bit heavy. he doesn't always pull along as easily as some vacuum cleaners I've used, but apart from those small nickels for what you can buy James for which is normally well under 100 pounds if you shop around is a good, robust machine and like all pneumatics, I would recommend them. Oh one other negative I don't like and I've said this before the extension ones now they do tend to stick Anyone who's got pneumatic cleaners, you might agree with me, but once you've got the two extension ones together, they sometimes can be very hard to pull apart what I would like to see and they've never done it so far, but you can buy this as an option if you want. But I would like to see a standard with some pneumatic domestic cleaners: a telescopic extension tube so it can adjust the height without having to try and pull the tubes apart

I’m gonna be honest and say right away vacuum cleaners does not seem at all interesting to me. That’s why I’m hoping to find a helpful soul here since it seems y’all know what you’re talking about. 

My husband and i are moving to a 2 bedroom apartment soon. I can’t stand the old vacuum cleaner since it’s one of those where the motor is on the stick (English isn’t my first language, idk what these are called). So it’s heavy and clumsy to use and it doesn’t work very well. On top of that the cable is not retractable and I wanna throw the whole thing out the window when I need to reel it in or out by hand. 

I prefer something that is bag less but it’s not something I’m dead set on. We have one dog who sheds a lot and I have allergies. The apartment will have hardwood floors except for the 2 bedrooms which have carpet.

He have allowed me to choose a vacuum cleaner I want but we want to keep it as cheap as possible. We’re willing to spend a bit more if it lasts for ages. 

I really hope someone can help since I’m pretty scared of choosing the wrong machine and waste money.

 As you can see, he's got a nice long hose, but if you do have a flight of stairs without a break, you might find yourself a little bit of cumbersome going up and down because unless you have pretty wide stairs, he says he doesn't quite fit on there. So what are my final thoughts on James Well, in the sub 300 category and at the time of filming this, his retail is under $300 and I think he's an amazing value I think any complaint you would have with James really would be remedied very easily with a regular. Henry James doesn't come with a journal and that's by design James is the entry level vacuum. he would definitely be an option for you

But when you want to set them down on the stairs, confidence but being able to zero I click connect the upholstery tool without the curved handle is a really big plus.  What you know is here we have breakfast cereal, we've got cat litter, we have flour, and then we have my hair down below and we're gonna do this - Winnie So we're going to first use the switchable floor tool and then we're going to use a turbo tool which would be an optional accessory you have to buy. so not the best with that. Again, this is basically what we suspect when we see this sort of straight suction machine. So we're gonna try this optional stool

 this is something you can get from Henry this tool [Music] So again struggled with cat litter. this time got all the breakfast cereal and the only pet hair was left behind was where the belt cover is and I've done this test with this nozzle in several urban eye teams. It's just a characteristic of this nozzle so if you had heavy pet hair you would want to criss cross like you would any other vacuum. We're gonna do that same test on the wood floor
