GTX 970 - Worth It in 2020?

So the gtx 970 is still a gosh dang win in 2020 for 75 bucks, maybe 50.

Possibly a dumb question: Is there any adverse effect of mixing AMD cpu with Nvidia gpu?

Just built a new PC a few weeks ago with a Ryzen 5 3600 and my old NVIDIA GTX 970 (til I upgrade around Black Friday probably). Apart from a few hisses and spits and swatting at each other, they seem to be tolerating each other. They each have their own litter boxes and eat in separate corners and seem to be happy campers until they're forced to walk by each other in the hallway, then all bets are off.

I'm leaning towards the GTX 970 as it is cheapest and my dad (was self employed in the pc industry with both software and hardware for 15 years) says it's still a very good card. Obviously cards like the RTX 3090 are out of the question but I'm looking for something at most under £200.
