 This is my 32 ounce nargin water bottle and it sits in there really nicely it expands out to accommodate that space, which is great you've. Also got that same water bottle pocket on the other side as well, so you could have two water bottles in there if you wanted to - or perhaps a compact umbrella, some sunglasses anything that you'd prefer to stick in that pocket. Another really cool thing that matador has done with the on grid series is that they tried to remove as much top stitching from the bag as possible. The stitching that you see around the edges that kind of stitching and they replaced it with minimalist bar tack, stitching in various points in the bag, where it's needed, and this has really helped with the overall refined, look and minimalist aesthetic in the bag, which, i think Is really cool? Turning to the back panel again with matadors packable bags, you're, not really looking for a super plush dense, you know eva foam type, padding or things like that

 We can see two brand marks here, one on the front face of the bag and then one on the side of the bag where this water bottle pocket is speaking of this water bottle pocket. It is a big water bottle pocket that has its own dimension. You can see that it's gusseted here it has its own kind of fold out there and then it also has elastic webbing on the side. Here

 Now i wouldn't necessarily use this bag as a drinks porter, because there's probably not enough strength to hold the weight of these beers, but just to give you a sense of the size we're gon na perform the test all right. So that's one! This is two now keep in mind. This is a 16 liter bag, so not sure if we can fit three but we'll try, maybe looks like maybe just maybe just yeah there. We go three tinny six packs fit in here very snug, although i suppose you could put another two cans inside the gusseted side: pockets there, which are really useful um, but three teeny, six packs

 What makes the on grid series different from previous collections, like the advanced series, which was a really awesome collection by the way, is that the advanced series was made for rugged outdoors for intense alpine conditions. They even took it to iceland to test out the products places like that. The on grid series, however, has been specifically designed for the city for the town for urban commuting places where you're pretty much going to be on the grid, so to speak. So it's got less of an outdoorsy adventurey, aesthetic and more of a minimalist streamlined silhouette, aesthetic to help it blend in more in the urban environment

Crazy Lightweight Packable Bag - The Matador On-Grid Backpack

Hey there! I’ve been loving my Peak Design Travel backpack as my one bag, but have recently been finding myself in need of a smaller sling for everyday when I’m traveling. Between the normal stuff (power bank and cord, sunglasses…etc.) and now hand sanitizer and a mask, my pockets are just getting too bulky. 

I’m looking for a sling (maybe 1-4L) I can pack into my peak bag easily (maybe even one of the water bottle holders on the side?)

Currently considering the Aer City and the Code of Bell Annex Carrier, but would love any other suggestions/thoughts/comments!

Good packable backpack

 So i've been using this just as my everyday driver, keeping my laptop in and out of here, sweatshirt down at the bottom here, notebook as well, and all that fits in there pretty easily. So it's basically just a giant compartment on the inside. It opens up horseshoe style, so it doesn't quite go fully clamshell and then there's this little clip here at the top, where the laptop goes. I'Ve been using a case, i think i think it gives it a little more structure

If we pull that out, then we're just left with a very light and unstructured bag, so yeah just a little bit closer on that clip. It'S an itw clip clips here just keeps your laptop a little more secure

 I think this material is more robust. We got the ykk zippers, it does pack a little bit larger and then their first iteration with this drawstring and actually packs the smallest. And then you have the advanced series which has this kind of compression uh system uh going on. So i think this is the best of the bunch

 Here, that's packable and durable as well here to kind of adjust the backpack straps a little bit of bar tacks down here to help reinforce, pull that up, so you can see it to help kind of reinforce that attachment point so definitely like what matador has here. As far as the durability is concerned, and a little mini strap keepers down here as well, just to kind of keep things a little more managed but yeah, i feel like in the advanced series they it was just it wasn't quite there with the fabric. I, like the on grid series fabric a little bit better and the most important part is that we're using durable, ykk zippers here and on the previous iterations. They were using sps, though they were a little more weatherproof

I’m looking for a smaller day pack that I can pack into my TB Synik 30 for business meetings. Most of the options I’ve found so far have a hiking bag look. I was planning on getting the TB daylight but I’m not loving the color options available and I have a trip coming up.

I’ll only need to put basic necessities in it (notebook, pens, ipad) so a laptop sleeve isn’t necessary. Anyone have any ideas similar to the daylight?

Comfortable, sleek and lightweight

 So it's a really soft material, just like seat belt material as well as the nylon hall handles. We also have a shoulder strap, so you can just change up your carry whenever you want. You can grab it by the hole handles or you can use this adjustable. Shoulder strap again, there's no padding on this strap, but it is adjustable with this anodized aluminium ladder

 It'S a dual sided zipper here, so you have two zippers on either side makes it really useful for packing it back in its pocket and there we have it in its stashed state with all of matador's packable goods. It'S really good to have these in their packed state because it saves a lot of space and it makes it ideal for travel bags if you're going traveling with a rolling luggage or a duffel. You can quickly just chuck this in and then, when you need to use it for a day trip, you can just pull this out unpack it store all your essentials inside i'm going to quickly show you what it looks like to carry the matador on grid packable Tote, obviously, you can carry it by the tote. Straps [, Music, ] or you can carry it with the shoulder, strap on the side or you can carry a crossbody style

 This compartment goes to about here, and this is just good to store some of those little bits and pieces other pieces of gear that you want to separate from the main cargo. So inside i've just got some hand. Sanitizer i've got my bellroy note, sleeve wallet and my bluetooth wireless earphones just on the side of this front. Haul handle are some bar tacks

A Packable Tote In Your Pocket - The Matador On-Grid Tote

  The laptop sleeve on the inside fit my HP Elitebook 14" well, most 15" laptops would be no problem. This is a packable daypack, so don't expect any laptop protection, so you need to be aware to set it down carefully, but it's nice that they include a laptop pocket.  The shoulder straps are sufficient for a packable daypack, I wore this bag for 8 hours at Legoland in Orlando a month ago with about 10lbs in it, and can't recall it being uncomfortable at all even once. This bag has nice strap keepers built in which help maintain a clean look
