 You got your index finger under their thumb on the ramp. It just feels nice full-size blade. If you're looking for kind of a user everyday carry blood you can have for a long time. This is a great option

 This is a great choice. If you want to carry something that doesn't take up a ton of room but still has a pretty long blade, I think it's a good option, or maybe you have the rat one, but you want something that is slightly quicker in the in the assisted version. Then that's also a good good choice. For me, the biggest differences are the scale texture and the fact that it's assisted and it has the safety on it

 I think left handed grip somehow puts slight pressure on the internals of the external slide lock mechanism. Also the release to unlock the blade can’t be worked left handed and is stiff enough to be very difficult to work even right handed; you really need to use both hands to safely close it.  After working the mechanism open/closed a couple hundred times right handed opening is generally smooth and fast but left handed opening ranges from smooth, to slightly stiff, to very stiff, to completely locked and impossible to open (either with straight or perpendicular pressure or in between). Sometimes when it is opened left handed it opens weakly and does not fully lock in place

 It's well-balanced and fits well in my hand which is probably a little larger than average. When the blade is deployed, the balance remains and there is an nice cut out for your index finger to assure a firm grip -- this is vital to any working knife (or for self defense). When deployed, there is little to no wiggle in the blade and I've done some test cuts and strikes on a tree trunk and there was no give -- it went in true. Having confidence in your knife is also very important
