 There is a suspended padded laptop sleeve that has ez zip access. If you are traveling and using this pack as your personal item, you can easily remove your laptop at the TSA checkpoint. That suspended design is great for folks who are regularly putting down and picking up the pack, whether it's at work school or the local coffee shop. There will be a good amount of protection for your computer because of that structure

-Tuck-away compression straps are good in theory. But as a train and metro commuter, I'll always want my backpack to be as small as possible (whether carrying a light *or* heavy load) to make sure I don't bump into too many other people before I've had a chance to take if off. In the end I always have the compression straps exposed anyway

 On the 2019 version, they removed the higher-up elastic piece. Now there's nothing to hold the tighteners, so I have two floppy straps that look unsightly and blow around in the wind.

 You know it's in the middle of the bag, so you don't have to worry about padding in the front or back of it, because you have a full pocket and frame sheet in the back and all this in the front so plenty safe there, and it also Is floating you can see the end of it there, and this pocket fits a 16 inch macbook, no problem, so a great pocket to add in there. Otherwise, if you are using this for more everyday carry, then you can throw you know, documents or anything like that. Anything you just want to keep a little flatter there and then in the back. We have the laptop compartment here

 You got a nice little key clip on top and then these three elastic pockets. The top of these kind of has this more less stretchy reinforced material here just to give it some more durability. So you got three of those there. We just have some assorted tech accessories charger mouse things like that, and then this pocket actually goes all the way down to the bottom here

 These two little straps you can either use this to hook, carabiners on. If you want anything, quick access right in front of you or if you have a hydration bladder in here, you can stick the end of the nozzle through here and then that'll hold it tight to your bag. So it's not flopping around everywhere on the sides. We have these nice stretchy water bottle pockets

 So this is a pretty deep pocket on top, so plenty room to throw any larger tech items like a laptop charger or anything like that. Moving on to the main compartment uh again, you do need to undo the compression straps to get at this one. Just a nice large compartment here uh we have a packable hoodie and two packing cubes that fit in just fine, no problem there, ton of room in this pocket and even in the back, you have a laptop compartment, there's actually a dedicated laptop compartment in the back. So if you want to opt for a hydration bladder and the laptop you can take your laptop from the designated laptop compartment move it into this one it'll keep it nice and safe

 I would have done something little bit different for my shoulder straps. made them a little wider and used a different kind of foam something that's a little bit more dense. but I know what Oscar is trying to do. They're trying to keep this back light while still providing a lot of functionality

 There's a couple of points that I probably would have changed definitely having the compression straps in a different section or brought them back here just a little bit so that you can at least get into your admin section without undoing the compression straps. but that's a small nitpicky kind of thing for me.  Osprey says this can take a 17 inch laptop and what I put in there is my 15 inch Dell XPS which fits in there no problem, has plenty of space. This laptop compartment is suspended off the bottom and it's padded, but it's not fleece so that's one of the things that the North Face has that the Osprey doesn't is they put a fleece lining. Some people like fleece and some people don't I prefer the fleece, but this will protect my laptop I Have no question now this pocket itself is TSA compliant.  you can put whatever bike in there that's just a small little compartment in the top. then it comes to one of the main compartments now or missile actually so in front of that one. this other one is just a really. this is kind of a handy stuff so we've got little pockets in there

 I'm gonna be using this two years. I Compared a lot of different reviews, a lot of different bags and overall this one came up trumps. I'll just show you whether it's like on so you can strap it up. Push the front go some straps here as well

This bag which is the laptop compartment. So this is the compartment right at the back and it is very padded and can't see inside their position padding which is very active
