Of these 2 sets which is best for a beginner?

 I finally ended up having to by a whole new high hat unit.  Bottom line, if not for these two stripped parts I would have given 4 stars as the drums do sound nice with the exception of the cymbals which are kind of cheap.

I'll start by saying this is a great drumset for the money. It was purchased for a church and the only thing it's missing is a nice crash symbol. Otherwise it's great quality.  Let me start by saying this drums can't be beat for the money

Complete beginner looking to start drumming.

Okay so for a while I’ve been thinking about learning how to play the drums but tried the guitar because of a lack of space. Well, my hands are too small for the guitar and I can’t stop thinking about playing the drums. I’m determined to find some space in my house for a nice set up. 

I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions for a quality 4-5 piece set that is around $600 or less. I’m not one of those people who want to start out with a really cheap beginner set and then work my way up, I’d rather just buy a higher quality set that will last me a while. Some of my favorite drummers are Steven Adler, Bill Ward, Alex Van Halen, Eric Carr, Tommy Lee, etc so that’s kinda the sound I’m going for. 

Another thing is I can’t read music at all. Will that be an issue? Even with guitar I only read tabs. Would I use drum tabs or sheet music or something else?

Lastly, how hard is it to learn just the basics? As in setting up the drum kit, basic grooves, even the difference between like a bass drum and a snare since I have no idea. Thanks!
