  That said, this probably will work fine if you keep your face shaved daily and don't have thick hairs. I like to shave every other day generally myself but now find I may have to change that.  The smaller more cut outs on the blades I assume are to help it align hair better to cut etc. but I guess I found that downfall if you go a day without a shave or have suborn hair it might not work as well

I'll give it some more time. This was only the first time and I'll try to change my habits too

 It seemed on high that got a bit more warm (friction of metal will do that hah) but didn't notice any difference in cutting.  I've not shaved in 2 days so that may have contributed but still, my old shaver could handle it better. This one I had to pass over the same spots soo many times. and even in spots where like just 1 random hair remained I had trouble sometimes getting it to pick that hair up and chop it

  I'll give it some more time. This was only the first time and I'll try to change my habits too. I think that might help it some but still annoyed that it had troubles getting single random hairs.  My old cheap Norelco shaved decent in all these situations

Might be okay for some depending how thick and how often you shave.

  Cons: No built-in pop up trimmer. This model comes with a seperate trimmer attachment that you need to put on to trim your sideburns or mustache. This can be a pain swapping it in middle of shaving or can get lost if you dont have a proper place to store it. In addition, the older norelco models you were able to pop open the head to clean & rinse it while it was still hinged to the body

The latest style shaver has left much to be desired. The shaver never gives me a good close shave without working on it, for way to long. The cleaning system is worthless, in my opinion, as it only worked well a few times even with changing out the solution frequently. Not having the attachment integrated into the shaver is a pain and seldom gets used, as it is a hassle to change over, with the need to place it somewhere easy to pull out and change-over

Not happy with quality and performance.

I have used the Phillips /Norelco shavers for years and have had several models from inexpensive to moderately expensive. I think the S9311 is the poorest of the 6+ I have had and used. Not having a pop up trimmer is a an inconvenience and I expect it to break, the three head position is not as comfortable, the shave is ok as closeness and non-irratateing are concerned. I just find it appears cheaply made and will have a limited useful life

Not Great overall.

 Don't let the shaving heads remain stationary in the same area of lower neck skin for very long or you will experience razor burn/skin irritation. Yes, it shaves that close. Also, I find that keeping the skin loose on the lower neck, rather than pointing the chin up to tighten the lower neck skin, helps prevent razor burn. You can also experiment with using the three different shaving head rotation speeds (rpm) on the lower neck area

 This allows you to use the same circular shaving technique on the lip area as is used on the cheek area. In order to shave the hard-to-reach hairs under your nose, aim one of the three shaving heads at those hairs and use very small diameter circles to catch them with your one chosen shaving head.  3. For the lower neck area, use a very light pressure on the shaver head while keeping it moving in constant circular motion

 Think of the area extending from under your nose to the bottom of your chin as a single surface similar to a cheek. Move the shaver over this area as if the lips did not exist. This allows you to use the same circular shaving technique on the lip area as is used on the cheek area. In order to shave the hard-to-reach hairs under your nose, aim one of the three shaving heads at those hairs and use very small diameter circles to catch them with your one chosen shaving head

 I'll likely follow the same more thorough cleaning schedule with the PN 9300. You'll find a decent amount of hair building up inside the PN 9300 shaving head assembly, so I'd perform the more thorough cleaning at least every three months or so.
