Electric Teeth

 Good, honest use of feedback on this electric toothbrush. so sigh. Care have a great reputation in the electric toothbrush market and this one designed specifically for kids is very good as well. As you would expect, The first thing you'll probably notice about it is the bold design and that's what stands out

 For children younger than that, use a manual brush that you get supplied with one interchangeable brush head. This is a compact brush head designed for the sort of small amounts of, say, children three, six, seven years old. What's particularly nice about this is the back of the brush head is actually coated in rubber rather than the gloss plastic you tend to see on adult brushes, making it softer on children's mouths. Unfortunate is no indicator bristles on this brush head, so you've kind of got to remember roughly when the brush head was first fitted, because you should change the brush head every three months as you'll probably aware, and those indicator bristles available on some brushes can be quite helpful

 That charging stand has a two pin plug that connects to sockets in bathrooms. Here in the UK works on 110 to 240 volts, so if you travel, all you need is a plug adapter so that the brush simply sits on there to recharge the battery. and you get status information via the LED on this power button about the condition of the battery life. Now to the price of this electric toothbrush

This is making him hate the app, his sparkly and brushing in general, which is completely defeating the purpose of why I bought my kids this brush in the first place. Oh and I forgot to mention his younger brother also has this brush and he has received three different colors which has only infuriated my oldest son more. Not a happy mom or son!

Great product but app has a flaw!

My boys each had functional electric toothbrushes, but, when I discovered there was a Sonicare brushing app with a cute fluffy creature, I purchased 2 Sonicare Kids bluetooth toothbrushes. The idea is a really good one..

 I hope Philips invests in improving the App, the toothbrush is pricey,  but having a great App would make the price more than worth it.

 The randomized prize distribution has given my younger son the same prize 9 times out of 10. For the app to be truly motivating for kids who resist brushing, the reward system needs to be improved. The App has a lot of potential. My kids like the toothbrushes, but are frustrated with the App

This brush is great for kids over 8-10. For kids in the 7 and under crowd this is really too big to effectively brush tiny teeth. Especially if your child has sensory issues. My sensory child often feels like he’s being gagged by the size of this brush

 The timer only separates the teeth into three areas instead of four, and does not run for the ADA recommended two minutes. The brushing power buttons also work inconsistently, it is often stuck on the highest setting, which can be very irritating for the 5-7 age range when they have loose teeth that are often tender.  Strongly recommend skipping this one for young kids and sensory kids. Try a smaller brush head and longer time like the Oral-B kids

Too Big for Littles Timer too Short

My kids have been very motivated brushing their teeth every morning and evening with the little gifts, surprises and new faces the sparkly is making.  However, they get upset when they lose their streak because of the random buggy behavior that wipes out their progress with no way to recover.   Likewise, every few days the brush steps connecting to the app automatically and it requires extra works from parents to get it reconnected, causing stress for every one involved.  Lastly, the app iso not cloud based so if one parent is not home for a couple of days we again lose some of the brush data

Good idea, but app is unreliable

Also, I can't give her "credit" for brushing her teeth if she's at her dad's house and doesn't have her Phillips toothbrush with her. The credit option doesn't always work.

Some good features

Cute but it has interchangeable stickers that wonts stay on at all !!! Also to powerful and 70 % of the time it flings tooth paste of before she can get it in her mouth flinging toothpaste onto her face. If I could I would have purchased something else she would actually wanna use. Haven't even used blue tooth yet because I have to brush them for her now and she isn't even interested in using it herself ( age 5 )

Sticker won't stay on

 I thought some of the stickers for the handle were not attractive at all, but maybe kids would like to pick their own design and would like them. I tried to download the app on my Android phone, but it was not compatible. Next, I tried to download it on my iPad, but it is an older version (2), so it was not compatible, either. I had to download the app on the mini iPad I use for work

The Sonicare for Kids Bluetooth-Enabled Toothbrush has several features that make me, as a parent, happy and some that make my son happy, too. I am pleased with the quality of this toothbrush. Compared to the cheap battery powered toothbrushes, this one far exceeds the cleaning power of those and since it is rechargeable, there's no need to replace the entire toothbrush frequently. You simply replace the head, and these can be purchased on line or in the store

 Next, I tried to download it on my iPad, but it is an older version (2), so it was not compatible, either. I had to download the app on the mini iPad I use for work. The app is a nice feature, but I would like to see it compatible with more devices. The actual toothbrush would earn 5 stars, but the expectation that it will work with an app that is not available on so many platforms prompted me to remove a performance star

Motivates My Child to Brush Longer

My husband and I have our own set of Sonicare toothbrushes that we love, so when it came to selecting a powered toothbrush for our daughter-it was an easy choice to make. This particular toothbrush, designed for kids, has a lot of similar features that the regular "adult" versions have, but offers others that are geared specifically with children in mind. The handle, which surprisingly is the same size as the regular models, has a nice soft rubber material that is easier to grip and has a small stand attached, so that the toothbrush can lay flat on a counter to apply toothpaste onto the brush head. It has cute little series of tones (and a congratulatory sound sequence at the end of the brushing time) to teach the child to move to all four quadrants of the mouth and to alert that the full brushing time has been met

 It also not only builds up in brushing power, but in brushing time to eventually reach the recommended full 2 minutes of brushing before automatically powering off. It offers two different power modes (high and low) and has a battery charge indicator light that will flash and beep when the battery power is low. It includes a removable replacement front panel, a selection of bright colored "kid" stickers to decorate the brush handle, and is bluetooth enabled to use with the Sonicare Kids app. The app is designed to keep kids engaged while brushing and to teach proper brushing techniques and other oral health facts

 Although the stickers are cute, I would have preferred to have just a brightly colored handle than have to deal with stickers that eventually peel off and after discovering that the brushing app is over 100 MB is really something I can do without. I also would have preferred that the handle and cord length on the charger would have been shorter in length and that it would have included a travel case-not just a travel cap. Overall though, love this toothbrush, and even more importantly-my daughter loves this toothbrush.

Great toothbrush with many features

 The timer starts before the toothbrush or visa versa. And who wants to watch the same tooth/germ video every time. How about race cars and ponies and spacemen exploring to keep it fun? for the parents that still supervise or help the little ones - how about something easier to juggle between getting the app running and the paste on the brush?

First- I love that you have a kid oriented product. I have come to LOVE my SonicareKids and I just don't feel my teeth are clean without it. That being said I feel that this kids toothbrush is slightly missing the mark. It's like you just repackaged the first generation brush and have forgotten that this unit it meant for kids!
