 And the way they do it is actually different. It uses the super high frequency vibration, almost the sonic kind of technology and it almost doesn't feel like it's moving, it just feels like it's sort of vibrating. I can switch it on and see if we can see here that it just really pulses very, very quickly. Just take it off, You would just take a new one and pop it on top of this, we'll pretend I just got a new one here. just fit it on facing upwards, pop it in place and we are good to go. So really easy to swap that out when the toothbrush reminds you to do it, which is based on the time and the amount that you've used it

You know, just wash this if you get anything on it. toothpaste gets on it or whatever, but you can still put it on top of this little inductive charger and here that is over in the side in my bathroom. It's got this little groove in the bottom and we're just going to put that on there

Review of the Sonicare 4100 Electric Toothbrush

I wish I could send this product back. We bought 2 to replace our older Phillips toothbrushes. The handle is very small in diameter and the brush is 1/2 the size of our prior model. Both design features make the product appear like it belongs in the hands of a child <than 10

This is a child-like toothbrush. Not made for an average adult

 I Found it clean to be very good overall. It's a slightly larger brush head than maybe some of the oral-b round brush heads, but although it's slightly more difficult to get right to the back teeth. I Found the clean to be very good. Now one of the unique features about this brush and these brush heads are they've got a RFID microchip built into them and that is because this brush handle has something called brushing technology

 So the first thing I want to let you know is there is a full written review that goes into a lot more detail. To see that review, click the link in the description. So what do I think of the Protective Clean 4100 Well, quite frankly, it's an excellent electric toothbrush. If you're looking for a fairly basic electric toothbrush that isn't going to cost a fortune, this is it

 Now you can hear the sound change you can feel. You also get amber light on the front of the brush handle light up although you can't see that very clearly and that's one of the negatives of this brush. There are some alternative brushes from the likes of Oral-b that have a visible pressure sensor on the back of the handle which is much clearer to see but you can tell the difference in the brushing sensation so you get one see to optimal plaque controlled brush head included in the box as you see here. So this is an interchangeable brush head, one of a range of different heads that can fit onto this brush handle, but it gives them good overall, clean and can remove seven times more plaque than a manual toothbrush

  Let's see if the 4th toothbrush dies at 3 years too.  I like them so much I bought replacements, but if they don't last long I'll be looking for another brand. The warranty is 2 years (or 2.5 years if you register the toothbrush)

I love the Sonicare toothbrush and how clean my teeth feel after using it, however, they need to improve how long they last.  In my family, we bought 4 sonicare toothbrushes between 2-3 years ago.  3 of those 4 toothbrushes have stopped working.  Those 3 were bought 3 years ago

Not as good as my last Sonicare product.

No pressure or speed adjustment on this model.  Unit too strong and tough on my teeth, and cannot purchase the standard brush head for sensitive teeth as they are "out of stock."

 It scared the bejeezus out of me and had me trying to remember the number for Ghostbusters.  Once I figured out it wasn't possessed and wasn't going to go back to working correctly I ordered this toothbrush. I'm not going to lie, the fact it was pink played a huge part. I knew I wanted another Sonicare so easy choice

The brush comes with a charger that plugs into a USB instead of the wall which is the DUMBEST idea ever. In order to actually use your toothbrush charger you have to buy a separate adapter

 The new toothbrush said it's still charging three days later. When I take it off the charger it shows partially charged. Put it back on and a couple days later it shows "charging" while on the charger but "charged" when you take it off. All this is indicated by little lights and their color and flash or solid light

Pretty good but....

I loved this lower priced model of Philips Sonicare. I love my teeth and mouth health, but can not spend hundred plus dollars just on foundational purchase of best electronic toothbrush. I love there is a re-chargeable versions to accommodate all financial statuses of those who care about health.  What's the point if they stop re-charging or the replacement brushes, after many opened ,new brush heads which refuse to stay on when brush turned on
