Feels great!  Writes very poorly!

I love the [bLen](https://www.jetpens.com/Zebra-bLen-Ballpoint-Pen-0.5-mm-Light-Blue-Body-Black-Ink/pd/31777) but all the ones I've used have started to skip, and way too soon! It's a shame. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm open to suggestions on an alternative. 

One ballpoint I enjoy but it's uncomfortable to use is the [Pilot Better Ball Point Pen](https://www.google.com/search?q=pilot+better+ball+point+pen&amp;rlz=1C1GCEB_enUS983US983&amp;oq=pilot+better+ball+point+pen&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i61l2.4320j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8). I also really enjoy using the [Paper Mate Stick Pen](https://www.wired.com/story/the-bic-stops-here-in-praise-of-the-humble-stick-pen/), but only with the blue ink (also very uncomfortable to use). Perhaps I should get some pen grips...

On the flipside I hate the [Acroball](https://www.amazon.com/PILOT-Acroball-PureWhite-Refillable-Retractable/dp/B084HG63QH/ref=sr_1_2?crid=24MABJRLY98WX&amp;keywords=acroball&amp;qid=1647640190&amp;s=office-products&amp;sprefix=acroball%2Coffice-products%2C82&amp;sr=1-2). It's is too slippery for me. I like a pen that slows me down a bit, I have ADHD. I hope that makes sense? 

I prefer a 0.5/0.4 mm.

Seeking an alternative to the Zebra bLen pen

Breaks easily

Paper mate PhD, why did they stop making this? Super comfortable to write with. I’ve used them for years and am paranoid I’ll leave it somewhere.

OK here goes  - I have found that the Zebra LV gel refills fit the Pilot Dr Grip perfectly.  I prefer the Zebra refills

I bought a TiScribe Bolt V2. It currently has a Pilot G2. Here is a list of compatible refills from the website:

Need help identifying what style of refills my pen uses

I bought this pen for ergonomics. It meets the claims of being comfortable with perfectly distributed weight, but I do wish it had a bit more of it. As a personal preference, I like a bit of heft.  The tip glides smoothly and writes well at an angle to about 45 degrees, which is what one can expect from a ballpoint pen
