Pilot G2

I don’t want to be a party pooper, but there are usually legal requirements on what ink you can use to sign, and if you’re in most countries, the printer paper the closing papers are printed on is pretty bad, so fountain pens will not be too helpful. I would probably use a decent permanent gel pen instead like an Pentel Energel Permanent or a Pilot G2.

With the Pilot G2 you remove the little plug on the refill and push in the adapter, in the Energel there is nothing to remove, just insert the part. Works perfectly with my Lamy 2000.

Am not a fan of the Pilot G2. Too thick for my liking with too much spillage if that makes sense.

I like the Pilot G2 with a fine tip but sometimes the scratchiness of the refill against the paper kinda gets to me. The lines are dark and crisp none the less and hi-lighter resistant.

I can't depend on the crap paper supplied by the firm to consistently play nice with any fp ink. Yes, there are lots of great pens and inks that I like with cheap paper, but I simply don't have time to make sure I'm not about to notarize an original and have bleeding or feathering. I use a Tombow rollerball or a Karas bolt filled with Pilot g2.
