Generally good - one part is a problem

I just cooked my first pan cakes on my 22" presto griddle does not have even heat. cook 8 pan cakes watch was very nice but one half was nice and brown the other was the same color as the batter so I'll be returning the griddle.

 After taking out the temperature control it's fully immersible to get into all the hard to reach spots. The removable temp control, legs, and drip tray make it easy to fit in small spaces if you have a small kitchen. On the flip side of the pro's of the removable legs, they are kind of on the flimsy side of durability. If possible, I would recommend trying to avoid removing them as much as you can

When washing the griddle of the ceramic version the edges are quite sharp. I would suggest being careful of the outer edge and not apply too much pressure on it while cleaning it

Non-Stick at it's best!

 The griddle itself is rated to be "dishwasher safe" but in my experience, the harsh chemicals seem to degrade the non-stick properties quicker and we typically resort to hand washing anyway. The handles and tray, on the other hand, we have no problem with putting through a tour in the automated washer.  The griddle is well designed for the most part. The ceramic coating implies a more durable non-stick surface but only time will tell if that holds true for this one

 Not so great is the heat distribution. In fact, the far end (from the plug) appears to be extended in size without adjusting the heater position to properly heat the additional 1.5 inches. As a result, that section is a significant 40F cooler than the rest of the griddle

 I ordered this and a few other things. Used it for the very first time today only to find out that the shoulders on the grease tray were broke and the metal brackets holding it on were bent. I thought about putting it back in the box and sending it back but figured it was too late. Plus I needed to use it
