any way to get rid of/prevent these dents in my toms??

These shipped out pretty fast. I ordered them for a cheap drum set I picked up and WOW, they sound like a million bucks! Remo is a staple brand of drum products and has been well respected for years. These things, properly tuned will not torture you with an ugly resonance as they use special science wizardry to keep the drums sounding thick and heavy! I am super happy with these heads. I am going to order a 22" for my kick now!

Excellent on Toms; Ok on Snare.

Gotta replace heads on my kit.  The band plays goth and post-punk, what heads are going to give a deeper, richer tone.  +1 if they are budget friendly but open to premiums.

<p>EDIT: Thanks everyone, ended up with Evans Onyx heads. What an incredible difference in sound/tone from the worn out clear heads that came on the kit. 10/10</p>

Best drum heads for tom-heavy post-punk tones

Yes, this pack was made for you and your drumset.

What’re your favorite combinations for batter and resonant on maple kits and snare drums and why? Just want to start a discussion for insight.

 Right now I’m using a coated Pinstripe on a 14 X 8 Black Beauty, tuned down low to get that fat, thick sound. We’ll see..

 These things sound like they’re in the studio live with Pinstripes on them! I through on a set of aquarian studio rings... and it’s butter!!!  Not sure about the snare head that comes with it though, never used one before

I’ve only used Pinstripes my entire career, LOVE ‘EM!!!!!
