 Now I'm gonna go on to the website and read you guys a description of this foundation. Okay now I did attempt to film this video yesterday and so I kind of took yesterday's attempt at filming it. More of me getting my first experience with the foundation and today I'm gonna go ahead and see how we can use this foundation with a color corrector as well. But before we get into that I'm gonna read a description of the foundation

 Okay you guys so this is what the finished makeup look looks like you guys can see on the side where there's no color corrector there is some of my pigmentation on my face peeking through I have a weird spot here that's clearly from my skin peeking through and a little bit of my five o'clock shadow shows on the side whereas my color corrector is on the side. So I'm just going to my five o'clock shadow shows on the side whereas my color corrector did covered really well. So I'm going to have to say that my favorite product from all city products that I've tried today is the concealer I really do enjoy the coverage of this I think it's really really bomb and I also really love the skincare benefits you know the antioxidant properties and all that stuff and then I will say with regards to the foundation when it comes to me I definitely can appreciate a more natural looking foundation so I can definitely appreciate this foundation for those of you out there who definitely want that skin like everyday coverage and finish it's very weightless it is probably very close to what they describe it as the only thing I would disagree is what I don't think it's medium buildable I think it's light to medium buildable coverage. So yeah I guess that's what they mean by that

 You can see a little bit of a pigmentation peeking through right there and then looking at this side I was able to achieve quite a decent amount of coverage going in with that color corrector underneath and then putting the foundation on top. It didn't change the foundation in any way it still remains skin like obviously I definitely powdered it just now but I'm not going to spray any setting spray on my face I'm just going to finish off the rest of my makeup and then we're going to come back and see how it looks.  It is wearable, but only barely. It is clearly too yellow for my face, which is unexpected, since my face leans more true neutral than cool; leading me to believe that the Neutral shades of Candid are actually leaning slightly warm. So if you are cooler than me, i.e

  Finally, just in case someone is wondering what the shade the radiant Gal Gadot wears in the TV and print ads, it's 400 Macadamia, which is a very warm shade.

  For reference, I am Medium Beige in Bare Minerals, NC25 in MAC, and have light-medium neutral-cool skin that breaks out easily. In the PhotoReady Candid, I purchased shade: 250 Vanilla, which is supposed to be the second lightest Neutral shade. It is wearable, but only barely. It is clearly too yellow for my face, which is unexpected, since my face leans more true neutral than cool; leading me to believe that the Neutral shades of Candid are actually leaning slightly warm

If you can get your shade for roughly $7, then this is not a bad foundation for the price range, although it's really nothing to write home about, and is not long-wearing or particularly flattering on the skin. I've tried other Revlon PhotoReady foundations and BB creams with mixed results, (PhotoReady BB is a slippery, oily mess that feels like sunblock from the 90's) so I wasn't sure what to expect from PhotoReady Candid, but it's at least an average drugstore-level foundation, assuming you can find a decent color.  I already prepped my skin with my Dermalogica active moist moisturizer and my origins original skin. This is the pore perfecting cooling primer. I love both of these and I know how they wear on my skin. So nothing new there

 Um, I have the shades Nude 200, Natural Ochre 210, and then Natural Beige 240. And picking out foundation online is just hard straight up. It's not easy. And I ended up with shades that do not match me

 200 and 210 are like not even, it's a joke how bad they are. So 240 is the one that was closest to me. I actually tried filming this video yesterday and I was doing a wear test of it, but I forgot to film an intro or an outro. So I basically put it onto my skin and I did mix it with my NYX foundation mixer to make it darker so that I would fit my skin tone

 Let's see if you guys can see that it looks decent, but there's definitely the shades are, I feel like they're like a little misleading online because the lightest shades don't look that light, which is why I picked the shades that I picked, but they ended up being way lighter in person. So that was kind of a bummer for me, but it says Revlon photo ready candid natural finish, anti-pollution foundation is a skincare inspired foundation.  First of, the shade range isnt great at all. Im cool light and I couldnt find a match, I had to go with light pink undertone and make it work with other base products on top of it. The other thing I noticed is that it oxidized throughout the day which of far from ideal. You dont want to leave home one color and in few hours realize you are 3 shades darker it has a semi matte finish on my

 The second is shade 130 ivory. The buff definitely is the yellow undertone of the two. The 130 is neutral leaning cool, I would say. Third swatch is the Milani Conceal Imperfect in shade 00A porcelain

 I do not see fragrance listed as they claimed. I mean, it does look like I've been wearing makeup for 12 hours, but I wouldn't feel embarrassed to be seen in public like this. I think it just looks like it's the end of the day, and everything has been doing what I call a graceful wear down. When the makeup, of course it's going to start breaking down and it's going to start vanishing, but if it does it gracefully and it's not just splotchy in one place, I think it's a tolerable breakdown

 So good news on that front. I would love to see more and more and more and more and more inclusivity. So looking at the claims, this foundation makes it's a natural finish anti pollution foundation, a skincare inspired foundation that's ultra blendable, ultra buildable, infused with antioxidants, anti pollution and anti blue light ingredients. Now I know blue light can impact your sleep patterns and things like that, especially if you look at screens with blue light late into the evening, but I'm not very well versed on the impacts of blue light on skin

Its pretty good foundation for those who wants natural look. Moussey texture and light coverage but buildable . I am only giving this 3 star is because it looks great and natural right after application but after few hours of application my skin looks dry and it extenuates all dry spots.
