Ruger 10/22 Review

One of these is a lot cheaper to shoot than the other.

44 Magnum hunting carbine,.44 Magnum back in 1959 was considered pistol only, as far as I can remember, and it was groundbreaking that you had a rifle chambered for it. Accuracy is more than adequate for pretty much any purpose you want, plinking, running guns, hunting, the 10-22, if you're a good shooter will get it done, you can always improve on it, there's a Tactical Solutions barrel, this is under high winds by the way, that was this year, January 2009, first time with a TacSol barrel CCI, could have done better, but that is high winds, I have clips of that, in fact that might even show you right now, I'll go ahead and embed one, you can see me shooting that, pretty decent. Accuracy on the 10-22 on par with any other 22 rifle out there, I really think that it stacks up quite nicely

So, I'm not really much of a gun guy.  I've shot a few times for fun, and only hunted a few times as a kid.  But, I have [this Colt 1911 USMC Commemorative pistol](https://imgur.com/a/AvJVKk3) which my father gave me before he passed away in 2013. It seems too pretty to actually shoot (although it seems entirely functional). Should I actually use it at the range, or would it be best to sell it or trade it if I'm looking for a more functional pistol? What would be an equivalent pistol for range shooting and plinking cans (I live in a really rural area)?  Recommendations are welcomed, as again, I'm not much of a gun guy, and just want to shoot as a hobby...  Thanks.

 So if you see me glance at my phone I just don't want to get anything wrong. But I've done a lot of research and I finally decided on which one I wanted. And then upon deciding which one I actually wanted, it took me a while to find it. This one took a while to come in stock around here, you know gun shortages and everything
