 One thing that impressed me is how easy it is to charge with the hand crank. For me, that was the most important feature. With about 20 cranks, I went from a dead light, to a live light, and a radio. Although I did not time it to see how long it lasted

 Battery life for the radio and flashlight is pretty long. The radio will keep playing for about 20 hours until the battery is drained. Flashlight about the same. Battery lasts nearly all night if you run both at the same time

The radio is a TINY thing, fits nicely in the palm of your hand. Sound quality isn't bad, considering the size of the speaker. It works well for what you need this radio for, listening for weather reports or warnings when the electricity is out or not available. The antenna on the radio picks up strong stations well, and will adjust to point in the direction needed

 Cranking to charge this DOES work, if you're willing to sit for a while and crank on it... it's very slow charging this way, but faster than solar if the battery it totally dead

Sit this in a window sill and the little solar panel will keep the charge up on it

I ordered this crank radio for my mom to use in Venezuela where power outages are common place. I had looked for something like this for a long time, but I hadn’t been able to find something that was small, light enough and not dependent on either power or solar energy alone to charge. This item has a crank and can be charged with solar power and via power outlet, so it’s great. Most importantly, it’s easy enough for her to understand and use it

Gets the job done

 There is no way one can record what I am experiencing. But, keeping the radio as it has other features that are quite useful.

This radio is compact and a lot of FM and Am stations come-in, The flashlight is very bright and the various was to charge the battery is great, but even though I live 32 miles from a weather broadcast station, in Pittsburgh, PA, it won't pick up the NOAA Weather Radio located there.  I emailed the company that made the radio, explained, in detail, what was wrong, and they insisted for me to take a video of the radio. There is no way one can record what I am experiencing. But, keeping the radio as it has other features that are quite useful
