 All right, this is a review of the Sama IM-01, it's just like a kind of quick review, I don't really have anything scripted or anything, just kind of like a user review, oh yeah, look at it, it's like a discrete Micro-ITX small form factor. Okay, so we have it pulled up on Newegg here, just the IM-01 black steel Micro-ITX tower computer case, it's $70, it's not that expensive considering all of the compatibility that it has. So looking at this case, what makes it appealing is it's a pretty small form factor, 15 by 7 by 12, which is pretty small, but you can take a Micro-ITX motherboard, down here we have four slots for a GPU, you can fit a full ATX power supply in here, there's room for hard drives and such up here, in the front, down here, it's just a very compact well-made case so you have a lot of options for putting stuff into it, I can't seem to, oh here we go. So some of the technical specs, we have a maximum GPU length of 335mm, and the GPU that I have in here right now, the ASUS TUF 3070, is right around there, I think it's a 310mm GPU and it fits with room to spare, you can do a max of 155mm CPU cooler height, which is pretty tall, I think for reference a Hyper 212 EVO is like 142 or something, I'll put it on the screen, it's over here, it's on the screen, but yeah, so you can fit a pretty decent CPU cooler in this case, and that's not even really that big, nice case

Alright so talking about the dimensions of the components in my build, my power supply is an EVGA 850 watt gold, it is 150mm, GPU is a 300mm RTX 3070, those are the two biggest components, my CPU is an i5, I'm using a 120mm AIO, and it all fits pretty well, you can see there's a lot of space for the GPU, I also have a hard drive in there, fits fine, I think that the most important factor to making this build work is the length of your power supply, it shouldn't be any longer than 150mm. If it is, then it might cause interference issues with the GPU, like you can see with my build, the GPU is kind of pushing down on the power supply cables, which is fine, but if it was any longer, then the GPU probably wouldn't fit

SAMA IM01 Tips Before Building!/Casual Review

[Case] Fractal Design Torrent Nano Mini-ITX case $119.99 + shipping (+$10 for RGB version)

 I went ahead and replaced them with some rubber and metal feet and now the case is simply perfect.

Great case - except the feet

 Now the first time I did this I got really scared because I thought I broke it because it was quite literally, the pins were diagonal up and so what I did was utilize the offsets, so there are some offsets on your fan, on these fan mounts, so they come similar to this, this is for the air cooler, but they run, they look a little different, but the idea here is that these little knobs you can see here are where you can slide your fans closer to one side or another, so see these will give you, will make it a bit closer to this side, well these ones over here will make it closer to this side, right? So I've obviously put an offset so it's closer towards the outside of the case to make as much room as possible, but there was still interference, right? This PC works fine, but the first time I booted it up it wouldn't boot because the power button was not connected, so hence I had to duct tape this, so please be aware, you will struggle a little bit. Hopefully it doesn't break for you, it didn't break for me which was really lucky, but I feel like it's quite fragile, so yeah. Next issue is, I wanted to talk about GPU and PSU configurations, so I have a three fan GPU, which is one of the longer, the longest lengths of GPUs you can get, I don't know the exact measurement, but I'm just going to refer to them as three fans and two fans. So initially I had an MATX build, so I utilized an ATX power supply, not this

 The case comes with an ATX mount, ATX power supply is a lot bigger than this one that's in this case here, which is an SFX, but with an ATX power supply it will take up most of this area, and it'll come down to around here. Now you can see the cables are around, oh they start here, they go down a little and you route them to wherever you need. Now with the three fan GPU, you can see there's quite a bit of distance between the cables and GPU, so you can route them out of the way, right, so that's all good, but if you had an ATX power supply, which I originally did with this build, it cuts into, it doesn't interfere, but the PSU itself doesn't interfere with the GPU, but the cables running down it will cut through the GPU, so you wouldn't work out basically. So if you have a three fan GPU and an ATX power supply, you can't build it, right, you would have to get an SFX power supply, or more expensively switch to a two fan GPU, so it doesn't actually interfere with the cables over here

 So either make sure you buy thinner, smaller, I don't know, smaller fans, thinner fans, I don't know if that will actually work, or just be extra careful when you build with that. Second issue is you can't have an ATX power supply and a three fan GPU, it won't fit, you have to have an SFX power supply and as big of a GPU as you want, or you run an ATX power supply with a two fan GPU.

My brother wanted something portable but also didn’t want to break the bank so I tried to reuse as many parts as possible. I think it’s incredible how much you can fit in the NR200, obviously it’s not the smallest case by any means and also my first SFF so I am no expert on the topic but i am impressed.

In my book the NR200 earns the award for „best SFF Case for non SFF Components“

Case arrived broken

 So let's get to your bang per buck. Bang per buck wise, I feel you get a lot more with the Coolant Master, especially the NR200P. For around $100, the NR200P, you get two 120mm fans and a PCI riser to mount your card sideways, and just the build quality is a lot better. With this, this was $85 plus $10 shipping, so I put it at $95, so I'm $5 short, I get an 80mm fan versus two 120s, I don't have that PCI riser that you can get with the NR200P, and the build quality is just not there

 Hello there, and thanks for checking out my review and first impressions of the Sama IM-01. I just purchased this case actually the other day yesterday and came in today from Niue, Canada. It was $107 after taxes and shipping, and it kind of places it in between the Cooler Master NR200 and NR200P, which you can see right here. I used the NR200P as my personal build, and I was just kind of shocked how similar this was

 This does share a lot of similarities with the Cooler Master, including this bracket that you didn't see in my case because I'm using a side mount GPU. Cooler Master has this bracket for a 240 AIO, just like this one here. This will support a 240 AIO, two 120mm fans, two 3.5 or three 2

5 or seven 2.5 inch SATA drives. It can hold up to six 120mm fans, but the biggest thing about this, for me at least, is though it's the same size and very close to the Cooler Master, it's not limited to ITX motherboards, but it also supports MATX. Not only that, I could use a small form factor power supply or I could use an ATX power supply

SAMA IM01 Matx Case First Impressions: I'm #1 or Coolermaster NR200 Clone?

SAMA IM01 / Krux Naos - I suspect this is going to be a very popular case

  That said, with my hardware and Bottom intake\top exhaust (chimney) airflow configuration, at idle\low use i'm at 29°C-32°C . Stress Test puts my CPU at a MAX of 65°C. I am very happy with this.  This case requires a lot of planning if going with MATX size

 5. The panel clips are also cheap, though extras are included in case one breaks. 6. The case is not top notch-quality but it's not terrible quality either

 If you will be using bottom fans, regardless if you use Slim or Regular sized 120mm fans; they will block MATX bottom connectors. Plan ahead and be sure the connectors you'll be using are not in the middle of the board. You can get away with the connecters out the edges with some planning. 2

 7. Per its quality, I feel $70 is overpriced. I think $50 is an appropriate price for this case. However, seeing other similar sized MATX cases are more expensive (and there aren't many out there), i suppose the manufacture has the upper hand on pricing

Plan Ahead! Smallest M-ATX Case

I have successfully downsized from a Cooler Master Masterbox chonker to a Sama IM01 (btw absolutely amazing quality case for the money), however I made a miscalculation during the planning phase. I was counting on using my existing 240mm AIO mounted on the side bracket, but since I went with an mATX board, I was unable to mount my psu in an orientation that would allow for that (yes, it’s an sfx psu). So now I am temporarily using an AMD wraith cooler, which is obviously not ideal for noise/thermal performance. I’m looking to invest in a good air cooler, rather than getting a 120mm AIO
