I would definitely recommend the Samson Q2U. I currently own 25 of them they are the perfect beginners podcasting microphone. One of the biggest reasons I’d recommend the Samson over the blue is the Samson is a dynamic microphone versus the blue which is a condenser.

So far, I've been using a Samson Q2U over USB, and while I've been quite happy with it, this is free money, so why not treat myself to something better ;). For the audio interface, I decided to get the Focusrite Scarlett Solo. It seems like a nice balance between price and quality, and probably good enough for my purpose. And I don't foresee ever needing a second XLR port.

Samson Q2U. You can get any other dynamic microphone that has both XLR and USB output. The reason I recommend a dynamic microphone over the other type (condenser microphones ) is that dynamic microphones have a lot better ambient noise rejection. This isn't always the case and some condenser microphones are quieter and better than their dynamic counterparts.
