 The body is made fully of plastic but that can easily be mistaken for aluminium as it does have this very nice silver colour onto it. The keyboard and screen area are however painted in black giving this nice two tone paint finish which just gives it a nice aesthetic look right there. The key to note is the 180 degree swivel hinge that enables the screen to go all the way flat on the table and this is for easy use in case let's say a kid pulled it from the back it can just go down there and not break. The keyboard is well spaced out giving you a good button feel and I like how wide the centred touchpad is, it just gives it a nice feel to it, it's not crammed and the fact that it's in the centre, normally you see laptops with touchpads to the side that just gives me the hippie gibberish

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go First Impressions

 I've had thoughts today about purchasing a Pixelbook Go. I haven't seen a lot of recent reviews (except the ones from two years ago when it was first released). I'm more focused on using the Chromebook for work since my work uses GSuite (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.).

There are a few things that I'm still trying to figure out if it's worth getting or not:

1. I know the programs (or apps) are downloaded through Google Play Store but are you able to get Zoom and Slack downloaded through the Chromebook? If so (and if you do use Zoom and Slack), is it similar to the settings on Windows?
2. I noticed there are a few versions (including m3, i5, and i7). I wasn't sure exactly which one should be good to have for the long run. I'm also trying to debate whether to go with n 8GB or 16GB. I don't know how much RAM a Chromebook will use overall but I use about 10-16 GB on my Windows PC from Chrome, etc.
3. Is the Pixelbook Go still worth it to this day? Or is it probably better to go with a Windows laptop?

 There's the usual laptop tricks, and they work enough. This won't look bad sliding out of your bag despite the garish Chromebook logo. It has a pair of down-firing speakers underneath, but no ventilation, because it's passively cooled. There's a fair amount of heat dissipation tech here, but it doesn't feel too heavy

 We got quite close to Samsung's 12-hour battery claim in our battery test, at a hair under 1120. Intel Celeronxys is a super-efficient chip, even when you're pushing it. Over a few days, the Galaxy Chromebook Go didn't require much plugging in. A big reason this Chromebook has earned the score it has is because you can take it wherever you're comfortable and convenient, whether you're working, studying, or just browsing

 So the Galaxy Chromebook Go sports a plastic chassis in what Samsung calls a timeless silver hue. It basically looks like most other Samsung laptops, except for the big colourful Chromebook badge happily slapped there in the corner. As far as looks go, this thing is pretty plain overall, but it's no eyesore either. That slender frame weighs just 1

 (you'll want an external display to appreciate it though!) Benchmarks are better than I expected given it's specs. Results were better than 70% of all users that ran the same benchmark, and 80% better then those using ChromeOS. I used it all day, then into the next and still had over 50% battery left, which it estimated to be nearly 8 more hours of runtime. I think the spec'd 12hr battery life is very realistic

Decent Chromebook, mediocre display, pretty quick for what it is, long battery life

 Spoiler alert, this is just proven to me that your money is better spent on a used Windows laptop as opposed to a new Chromebook. A Toshiba satellite or an HP G6 or something like that is going to do you much better than one of these. Firstly, the aesthetic theme of this Go is very clean, it's very minimal and I like the fact that it kind of rides the line between professionalism and a friendly design and I really like the look of the keyboard and the rear housing. I also like the way it charges, the Go charges over USB-C and comes with this little brick in the box, it's not much bigger than a smartphone brick and charges the laptop up to 45 watts. There's also this charging light to the right of the port which is very handy to have
