 So this is kind of like I think it's the perfect tablet because you still get that traditional tablet experience. You can still use it and get just as effective laptop replacement experience. Do all the productivity stuff, all the cool drawing things this right here I think is where it's at. but also you save a bunch of money 699 dollars and if you do the trading stuff through Samsung I got a great deal on this one

 This right here gives you the capability to use an 11-inch screen so it's more compact. You still get plenty of power 8 000 milliamp battery and then on the back you get the 13 megapixel and the 6 megapixel camera also capable of 4k video at 60 frames per second. This thing is just a joy and there are some people that put it down and I've got to put myself. I got to place some perspective in context on this

 You get better contrast, better darks, better color saturation. I really like the amoled screens. Whenever you look at something like the brand new S22 Ultra, you've got an amoled screen. I like them

9 inch Ipad Pro. They're about on par price wise and it brings such a good experience. And I love one Ui with Android 12 on here and I think this is the total package and you get the total package in the smaller one. and there's no real compromises and there are some I guess if you look at amoled versus Lcd, but there's not a whole lot that you're really going to notice and a lot of people are not screen snobs

The Galaxy Tab S8 Is the PERFECT Tablet.

I need a device that has a good battery and charge fast since i use it often. I thought that the Samsung one was a good option since the other two don't have water protection.

 - For a tablet, the camera was really impressive.  Cons  - Weight. Using it in landscape orientation isn't too bad. However, if you play some games that only work in Portrait orientation, holding the tablet does start to give you hand fatigue, in my case in as little as a few minutes

 So if you are a reader and want to hold it like a book vertically, you stand a chance of discomfort trying to hold it in portrait mode. - While the snapdragon chip that is included in this tablet should be more than enough to do most tasks, the few programs I used that streamed games and or shows seem to always have a micro stutter, and I spent most of the time having this trying to fix the problem and find out which of Samsungs programs are bogging the tablet down. I never found it out. Hence why I returned it

.. don't get the S8 plus or S8 ultimate, stick with the regular S8. The S8 plus was heavy and not as portable as other smaller tablets

  First of all the pros:  - During the few days I had this, I used it a lot like a laptop. I had a Bluetooth keyboard and a Fintiecase with it that stood it up. I also had a Bluetooth mouse that worked right away when connected. There is an option called "Dex" that loads a desktop environment which makes the tablet seem very much like a PC, and it did it well

Beautiful tablet, can be hard to hold with a case, Software has room for improvement

 I guess that's the way I'll put it in the unboxing video. We had a few stutters and slow downs with the Ui itself and folks in the comments. that video told me that it was just the tablet setting itself up and that we shouldn't be seeing this anymore. but in the last week I've frequently seen slow downs and stutters, especially when doing something with the Drop Down Quick menu

 expensive with everybody. so it's really nice to be able to spend like 130 bucks if you want to more than quadruple your internal capacity. Yes, Ssds will read and write faster than any micro Sd card, but seriously, does it matter? Like are you doing big Vfx or big video things on the Tab S8? Not. I know Samsung is making a push toward content creation here and we'll have to see with Lumafusion on the way, but even then, I don't think that speed difference is that big of a deal

 Second note: Yes, I'm a fan of Apple products, but that's not my whole personality. I use Apple right now because they are what works the best for me, but I'm always open to having a better experience and and pretty uninterested in flashy specs or features. For the sake of those flashy specs or features, I just need what works. Which leads us directly into the Tab S8 because I really, truly think that this will be replacing my ipad from here on out as this is our first dedicated video about the tab S8

 This display is gorgeous. Now that shouldn't come as any big surprise because Samsung has like a whole division. They have an entire business in the screen making industry, so they should be able to provide a quality product at a reasonable price. If they couldn't, I think that would be the bigger story

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 One Week Later!  A Perfect Tablet?!

 I would go with the S8 because of the size, but I DESPERATELY want that OLED screen on the S8+!

 Minimal input lag (and I hate input lag), very accurate, very comfortable stylus with tilt and pressure sensitivity, and decent tilt/pressure curves out of the box. The tilt is better than the pressure, but the pressure is still good enough.  Now granted, an entry-level iPad is like $350 + $100 Apple Pencil, and this is $650, so you're paying for it. However, this tablet is better in other ways

 Which is enough, but not great. I think this is largely because the battery life is HEAVILY linked to screen brightness. By default the screen brightness appears to be about 20%, and turning it above that shortens the battery life aggressively. I think because the screen is so high resolution, and at such a high refresh rate, it takes a disproportionate toll on the battery compared to other devices

Almost as good for art as an iPad, and better for gaming.

The school "STRONGLY suggests" getting the newest MacBook pro but It's really expensive and I'm not sure if it's really the best option. I'm already stretching my finances thin paying for tuition, housing etc. I just need something that will survive 4 years of regular use and support things like rendering animation and working on large photoshop files.

 sold me a $700 tablet with a bad battery and was told not to use it before it causes further damage and to get it fixed by a place that doesn't exist around me. And then Amazon tells me to return it because they won't exchange it and then I have to wait weeks to get the refund to try to repurchase it and hopefully get one with a good battery..

 I've been a Prime member for 10 years and this is the thanks you get. Some of these people try to make it as difficult as possible for their customers. I give Amazon one star and I would give this one star because I don't know if I'm the only one with this issue or if there are others. I don't want to be mean and give it one star, because the tablet is worth five if the battery was in good condition

 but other than that, this tablet is a beast and you would need nothing more. The UI is crappy though. Very sluggish. They want to bite off Google Style, and they should just not do it because they're ruining the experience

I'd like to get your expertise/opinion if this is the correct OS/device for me. My use-case is to watch videos and play mobile games when I'm on the couch.

Videos = YouTube and the occasional Netflix and Disney+

Games = Android games like Honkai Impact, Blue Archive, Ark Knights, and some idle games.

Admittedly, I can do all these on my Pixel 5 but was looking for a bigger device and was debating whether a Chromebook or Android tablet is the correct gadget. I tried a Chromebook in its earlier days and wasn't too impressed with the Android app support back then but the browser itself was a good experience. I saw that there are quite the few improvements since. On the other hand, dropping a thousand dollars on a tablet that may get 3 years max of support isn't a financially pleasing idea.

The devices I'm looking at are:
Lenovo Duet 3 or 5
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 or 8
