Samsung Q800T

Overall, the performance of the Samsung Q800T 8K TV is exactly what you should expect from a flagship television.

Umm I think consider the purpose of your living room before shelling out top dollar for a high end soundbar. Reason I say this, when I got my Q800T 3.1.2 soundbar, I was looking at all these other soundbars as well. Top level Samsung Q950T 9.1.4 at the time. Sonos Arc, Beosound Stage 5.1 and others that were available locally.

Honestly the year to year changes are incremental, and the Q800T is better than the Q600a or Q700a for a cheaper price. You can pick it up on Amazon for $425, or you can get it on eBay for anywhere from $300-400, depending on whether it’s used or new.

The soundstage of the Q800T is quite narrow and doesn’t give you much in the way of surround sound. The Atmos on it is also a bit muffled which can be distracting. The 900 sends discreet (individual) signals to the different surround speakers built into the bar so you get a noticeable sound coming from around you. Only problem with the 900 is that for some dumb reason, Samsung chose to use cloth around the surround bar for their 900 and 950 models instead of the metal on the 800.

Since a couple of days I have the samsung q800t. With movies the bass is very nice. Got a nice punch at the lows.

I bought myself the Samsung Q800t from Amazon. I know that it's more than the 500 dollars you specified but I managed to get it around 350.00 from Amazon Warehouse because the box was damaged. The actual soundbar isn't affected at all. It sounds amazing and has 4 different sound settings which is handy for the different media i listen to.
