58 we know it has an HDMI port we know it has a display port cable and we'll click up so you guys can go ahead and pause that also and we also know that it has an audio headphone jack on the back so what are my real thoughts well after using it for you know a while now a few days I have to say everything Samsung talks about from the UHD upscaling being just brilliant the colors the depth that it gives you you know even the game mode has done much more than I was expecting this monitor with the picture by picture you know the curved format is just a stunner they did a beautiful job whether this is very visible in your home or not from you know 360 views it's just beautiful the fact that they don't really push how beautiful the bezel-less edges are on the box kind of does it not so much justice in my opinion lastly I want to say this besides me highly recommending this for basically anyone it's a a multitasking beast is if you watch my channel you know that I reviewed the wide the ultra wide monitor so I'm going to show you I have basically three monitors being ran now I'm going to show you a quick side-by-side look at them all right the ultra wide monitor definitely nothing to sleep on as you can see this is basically my setup my thought process is curved monitor being dead center and as it bends with that bezel-less display those of you that want to run multiple monitors and use it for gaming and have them right next to each other that would be the perfect example of how it can work now my setup is different I run my business you know I do editing whatever I'm doing I like to jump from workstation to workstation running off of one PC but in this case imagine the possibilities you can then now if you had two monitors in this case you can run the picture by picture in two spots essentially you know giving you two additional monitors on top of that the comparison I'm just saying don't sleep on the ultra wide meaning the ultra wide is still comes highly recommended I will continue to use it in my setup but if you want higher resolution you want the curved immersive experience this UHD curved monitor by Samsung is phenomenal remember I'm just doing this because I reviewed both of them and I want to give my audience the options and let them know that either one of these is great with the wide you get extra space from left to right to work with multiple windows it really is just a multitasking workhorse but at the same time you also get a multitasking workhorse in full 4k with a curved screen in my opinion the curved screen is a beautiful monitor at the $500 price tag by the way I've seen it on sale for $450 it is something that you should definitely consider it really has all the features you need all right well that wraps up the Samsung curved UHD monitor and in my opinion it's another awesome product by Samsung as always I want to just slow things down for a moment and remind each of you life is so short don't forget to love your family love your neighbors and your friends take care of each other the world is a sick and evil place and the only people that can change it is you and I go out today and do something kind for someone it can be the smallest gesture of help but just doing little things like that can just help so much I want to remind you that I do YouTube for you and you only this stuff is just stuff it brings joy to us and I am here to help you with that joy so if you have a legitimate question about something that I did not answer in the video please reach out to me in the comment section or on Facebook Twitter or Instagram at JB Tech Fanatic and I will try to help you to the best of my abilities I want to thank each of you I am so humbled that you're here and I want to invite you one last time to subscribe I am nothing without you as a channel and you my subscribers are so important to me and I hope that what I am doing helps you every time you watch one of my videos I want to say thank you one last time you guys stay safe I can't wait to see you guys in the next video and I really can't wait to talk to you in the comments and until then I am JB Tech Fanatic and I am out peace.

  While that seems like a good thing, it’s not. In the end a screen needs to hit the sweet spot between resolution - or better pixel per inch (ppi/dpi) for the intended viewing distance. On a normal desk you will end up sitting rather close to it, and if you have very good eyesight and have the expectation that this will feel like a Surface Laptop 2 or similar, then you’ll be disappointed. I have another Samsung 34 inch WQHD (so a bit shorter than full 4K but full 4K width) - and I like that one much more and at nearly twice the price of this screen here, I think I know now where that price difference comes from

Is anyone totally happy with the monitor they just recieved or know of a really good one coming out very soon? I've been holding off on buying a 4k monitor for about 6 months and when I look at this subreddit I don't see an end in sight.

Good Value. Horrible Stand

 It's as if the screen skips a beat. I will be returning this to get a monitor with at least 144hz refresh rate.  Just a warning for those who wants to mount this TV that this requires a VESA adapter to mount. This would have been helpful info prior to purchasing

 However, the quality of the images are lost as many videos and games do not support 4k. The most regrettable aspect of this monitor is that it has such low refresh rate at 60hz that your high quality videos and almost all modern games will feel jumpy. It's as if the screen skips a beat. I will be returning this to get a monitor with at least 144hz refresh rate

Good for what it advertises to do

No VESA mount or height adjustment on the stand.
