Stick with the Compact 160 size Henrys, the Miele Classic C1 or C1 Compact, and the Sebo K2 or E2 and these will be the right size for your house. Since you don't have half or more carpet you won't need the electric powerheads.

No matter what you buy, you’re going to have to clean the brush roller out and probably frequently. If you want that to be an easy job, go for a SEBO. Another option that is easy because you take the head off is Kirby.

I recommend getting a Sebo K2 Kombi and adding a turbo head over getting a K2 Turbo because the K2 Kombi comes with the better Kombi head and the K2 Turbo comes with the cheaper Parquet Head for hard floors. The Kombi head is like the Premium Parquet with the front brush strip already removed it's great for sucking up big clumps of hair.

I gave it three stars because it is for hardwood floors tile floors linoleum floors only it's not for carpeted floors. Only after I bought it did I read in the very fine print that this vacuum cleaner was not for carpeted floors

I recommend the Miele Classic C1 $299 and the Sebo K2 $399 as starting points. They’re both great canister vacuums that will do excellent on hard floors and are very versatile to use for stairs. If you have the budget the Miele C3 Calima and Sebo E1 Kombi are the same power but more features. Henry HVR160 is also a good choice but Miele and Sebo have actual dealers and I think it will be more helpful to see the vacuums in person first and try them and have a local place to get parts and service when you need it and you get longer warranty in store.

It doesn't work on carpet, which is ridiculous cuz what else are vacuum cleaners for? And even on regular floor you sometimes have to lift it get the dirt under it. But it's a nice strong machine

I know you asked for cordless but I can't help but recommend the Sebo K2 $399. The weakness corded vacuums are short cords. The K2 has a 25 ft cord with an automatic rewinder. It has power, durability, and a great warranty.
