Vacuum works great but it would be nice if the 24" crevice tool that is on the box in both pictures and print were included with this vacuum cleaner. I contacted Shark customer service and was told the crevice tool does not come with this model. I was also told I could purchase one from Shark. This might have been mentioned in someone else's review but I guess I missed seeing it

 It's done better than any previous vacuum we've used over the last 10 years at picking up fur, and it not killing the suction after a few months. I particularly like the roller attachment for pet hair on furniture. This particular piece was lost in our most recent move and I plan on purchasing a replacement.  OPTIONS There are multiple brush options when purchasing, but I went with the standard roller and it's worked fine for our (until recently) multi-dog home

  The fact that not all of the attachments physically attach to the vacuum is disappointing and lead to losing one piece during a move last year. I don't want to have to carry things while I clean, I also don't want to fetch things from a different room when I need them.  EASE OF USE Buttons are conveniently located and it's simple to switch the brush on and off as I go from rugs, to wood, and then to carpet.  HARD SURFACE vs CARPET There are two on settings, one without activating the roller that is intended for hard wood or tile, the second that initiates the roller and should be used for carpet or rugs

  FILTERS AND REPLACEMENT PARTS This is highly dependent both on frequency of use and personal preference. The filters claim to be "washable" but if you don't beat the dust out of them pretty thoroughly you're just going to make it worse. The first 6 months of use I just beat the large soft filter that is between the actual motor and the collection bin until no more dust was present, but after a while this wasn't sufficient and it needed to be replaced. Both filters that I have changed are very easy to swap out and are relatively cheap considering the life it's adding to the vacuum

Multi-dog Home + Review of Replacement Part Ease (Nearly 2yrs of Use)

 Ad I said earlier though if anywhere close to half or more of your house is not carpet you will appreciate how well this vacuum is able to do all types if floors enabling you to do your entire house with one appliance versus vacuuming then sweeping and mopping. Yes you will still need to mop once a week or so and of course clean up any sticky or liquid spills separately before cleaning with the vacuum but that is something that would've had to be done regardless. This vacuum is my new best friend!!! It had literally already saved me a ton of time in doing my floors and at $150.00 it is more than worth the price for the results

 Not to mention it just plain blocked the suction. Thisbvacuum on the other hand suckef up everything I threw at it. Then just to be even more fabulous it wipes the dust from the floors leaving behind a fresh, clean & cared for looking floor. If you've ever had wood floors, especially real wood floors but laminate as well, you know sometimes they can look just a little faded or just sort of lack the luster associated with the look wood floors

Rubbing across it with this cloth the floors a soft shine that just somehow adds think the overall good look of the floors. They look really nice afterwards and I know they are also really clean because I watched it suck up all of the dirt even right up net to the baseboards

 I've used a lot of vacuums and these are the best, I've never tried a Dyson but at the price point I am quite content with a Shark. The head is a little narrow and if I had a primarily carpeted residence then I don't know that it would be my prime choice. I would want something with a wider head and honestly a better brush on the brush roll feature as this one has a quite slim line of bristles going around it and I prefer a more densely bristled brush when it comes to carpeting. It cleans more than adequately though as it is and it has a powered brush hose accessory for doing upholstery that works really well

Definitely Glad I Bought It!!

 This vacuum is completely self contained inside and does not spit any of the dust or dirt back out (see attached photos) as almost all vacuums do. Keep in mind this vacuum was completely dust free and white when I bought it (as it should be) and by the time I was finished, you would have thought I just cleaned up after a construction build. It makes me sick to think I had that much dust on my carpets, which brings me to my next point. The suction power is outstanding as well

 I would recommend buying extra filters because, as you can see in my third photo, it traps a lot of dust. That thing was pristine white when I started (testament to the suction power and filtering system of this vacuum). I do believe you can wash these things out, but I wouldn't recommend doing that. Just keep a couple of extras handy

 First, I will address the benefits. Right off the bat, this model is outstanding when it comes to filtering out the dust that almost all vacuums spit back out when in use. All vacuums have filters, but this goes above and beyond. If you have health issues regarding your lungs or breathing, look no further

The Great White Shark

 A replacing Dyson costs as much as 4 of this Shark model, and with very few minor exceptions, it flat out-performs the Dyson hands-down. Straight up, as a vacuum, this Shark pulls suction soooo much stronger than the Dyson ever did. I wished my Dyson wasn't broken or I'd have done a side by side comparison which I'm sure would have seen this little sub $200. Shark picking up dirt where the Dyson had just been passed through

 The Shark pulls at such an extreme velocity that on a mid-height pile carpet with its brush roll on, the Shark feels almost self-propelled. You literally have to hold it back as you more so allow it to go forward, as opposed to pushing it forward. Next plus point is the ease of use and simplicity of the on-board suction hose and attachments. Shark beats the Dyson again here by keeping it simple and under complicated, which results in using the additional tools, etc more often due to the ability of quickly changing over and then switching back when done

 But the broken clutch issue was becoming a nuisance considering it was breaking every 2.5 years or so, on average. A replacing Dyson costs as much as 4 of this Shark model, and with very few minor exceptions, it flat out-performs the Dyson hands-down.  Shark does kinda blow it here on the inability to keep all the included tools stored on-board the vacuum, which for such a well executed device in almost every other way, it leaves one scratching wondering how they missed something so obvious? The Lift - Away model I purchased came with the powered brush roll, a nifty piece of simple engineering that uses all that suction the Shark has on tap to pull hard enough that it spins a sort of turbine inspired fan wheel inside the powered brush roller body that spins the 4" wide brush via a belt attached to the turbine fan. Along with the Shark exclusive Lift-Away cannister feature, this combo tackles stairs in a manner the Dyson simply cannot do. The only drawback to this otherwise excellent addition is the 4" wide brushroll, which much like its big brother main brushroll, they could both benefit greatly by the addition of an extra 2-3 inches. But who among us couldn't, right? Perhaps Shark thought of these minor insufficiencies in the design, which benefits again over the Dyson by being some 5+ pounds lighter than the 19

Way better vacuum than Dyson

 Once I hit my carpet, I knew I had a shark! I was amazed how much dust and dirt and hair came up! It was easy enough to dump the dirt bin. Attachments were simple to on-board and & convert and also worked just as well, suction-wise. The filters were easy to clean and put back together. Out of the box, it looks like it will be heavy and bulky but it wasn’t

 And when I tried to vacuum my baseboards, same thing. I had to keep the unit very near the nozzle or the base would tip over. I had to literally drag the dust bin a few time as I moved along the baseboards. 2

 I have a cordless vacuum stick with attachments, that I can use for those hard to reach areas. Besides, for me, It’s too much of an inconvenience to return a vacuum cleaner. Overall, great vacuum, incredible suction power, lightweight and maneuvers like a champ!

Great vacuum!

1. Very strong suction. It picked up dirt my previous hepa vacuum cleaner left behind.

5. Hepa filter has a good seal and is washable. Dust does not recirculate into the air.

3. Power floor brush pulls vacuum forward giving it an almost self-propelled feel. It makes pulling the vacuum back slightly harder though.

Good But Needs Design Improvements

 Which meant for me? Having to bend over or be several stairs below to have the attachment nossel hit the stairs.  Emptying the machine is a dirty job. Like dirtier than emptying the Dyson. Which begs my question of why such extensive measures with the filters?  I had a total blast with my friend, going around the house and testing is suction power! It was worth it just for the memories!  ***** 5 stars for good times

 And it all went downhill from there! LMAO 🤣 I don't know if all vacuum instruction manuals read the same. Not these struck us as gut wrenching funny.   I still use my sobo for my clients who have allergies and/or pets since it does a better job keeping the dust and dander I vacuum from going int air.
