Best Upright Vacuums of 2022
CR’s take: The 17-pound bagless Shark Vertex DuoClean has plenty of bells and whistles. Testers like the Duo brushroll, which is great for both carpet and bare floors. The vacuum also picks up pet hair especially well, earning an Excellent rating on that test. It has exceptional suction power and do...
I love my Shark Vertex Pro with the powered lift away. Also have the Shark AI self empty XL. I don't have issues with either of them.
The Beast!
I am calling this machine The Beast. I tried out my new Shark Vertex on a 6x9 area rug.
The rug was vacuumed just 5-days previously with a Hoover WindTunnel. The Shark pulled a half-bin full of dust and hair out of the already vacuumed rug! Please see the pictures of the bin after doing only the r...
Unbelieveable Performance
Throughout my adult life, my "Family" has included two canine companions; two Labs, two Wire-haired Pointing Griffons and currently a Griffon and a Anatolian Shepherd. I've cleaned up more "accidents" than the local EMTs. Dog hair is a given, but what is amazing is how well this vacuum performs. Not...
Shark Vertex Cordless Review - SHARK'S BEST CORDLESS YET!
All in all. I think shark hit a home run with the new vertex cordless. It has all the things i like about their previous models combined into one supermodel links in the description for current prices and be sure to subscribe to vacuum wars, to keep up with all the latest vacuums, robot vacuums and carpet cleaners, thanks for watching
Amazing power
I really like this vacuum. It is light so I can easily move it around the house as needed. It has so many configurations that easily change with just a few clicks. In some configurations you may have to unwind the entire power cord though which is a bit inconvenient. It picks up almost anything in o...
I bought a Vertex after using a Dyson ball for years. The Vertex may not be the best on carpets but damn thing is the best hard floor cleaner I've ever used. And pet hair? Not even close to being a problem. The thing is really good.
Plenty of suction but dual rug beaters that don't switch off
I've been leery of Shark quality (for no good reason except past familiarity with their small cordless models of years ago) but when my latest D**** upright died after only a year or so, I decided to look around for a different brand and this one got lots of good reviews. So far, I've only used it a...
Shark Vertex Powered Lift Away Upright Vacuum Review - Vacuum Wars
So the shark vertex is a good upgrade from the apex with more power and an upgraded anti-hair wrap system. It's one of the best vacuums on the planet for picking up debris, on the surfaces of hard floors and carpet, but it's particularly a no-brainer. If you have a lot of hard floors, also just for the sake of transparency, while i bought this vacuum myself with my own money - and this was not a sponsored review - i have done some work with shark in the past
Works well, easy to use
I have a cat and a pug so there is always pet fur everywhere. This vacuum does a great job picking up the hair on all types of surfaces in my home (tile, area rug, carpet). You can select the floor type and I selected Carpet/Low Pile not really thinking my carpet was high pile but I think it is beca...
